The "Absolute ****s..." thread has descended into farce.

Politics bleeding out into it, unfortunately.

It doesn't help that a lot of cvnts have a lot of political power in a few places right now, too.

And in the spirit of this thread.

People saying that "... it can't get any worse" with respect to the state of the UK and the world.

Wrong. It can. You apparently have precious little idea of just how much worse it can get.

Or, "you couldn't make it up," about works of fiction.

Never minded before but this nostalgia that 08/09 was some idealistic wondrous season is driving me mad.

Yes, Southend, Hereford, Bristol Rovers, Cheltenham etc were amazing away days. Great fun, places we hadn't been to before and winning easily.

But this justification for renewing season tickets is just nonsense. The 1-1 home to Stockport when it was pissing down with rain on a February midweek? Depressing loss to Millwall and scraping a point against Walsall?

Genuinely think fans who think next season will be fun have rose tinted specs on. If you're heading away to Mansfield, Bromley, AFC Wimbledon then maybe, they'll be good days out before we know the result, but we're gonna have a lot of 12:30 Saturday's and 7:45 Tuesdays with football that'll sap your brain cells.

Beaches are not "giant sandpits" for only children to enjoy...  but are there for EVERYONE to enjoy.

Just dealt with a complaint that dog owners were using a beach to exercise their dogs, and asking how dogs can be banned from kids play areas, but not the beach!

People clapping crap football players isn't the end of the world.

They would probably applaud that as well.

People who text or phone in radio stations are morons.

But how else will people know that I'm raving away in my kitchen or that I'm loving the tunes and want the DJ to keep them coming?!

Isn't that just football and following a team though? There's always going to be days or games you're more up for, whatever league you're in.

I don't want us to be in L1, but I stand by that season being better overall than say the 2018/19 season.

I am disappointed at Leicester's descent and mismanagement much as anyone else but the consant comparison to clubs who were in League 1 or NLN whatever when we were lording it in Premier League and now share same division as us is getting on my nerves.

Football for majority of teams are all about peaks and troughs,  that is the reality of football.  It also smacks a bit of a sense of entitlement to be honest when we have been traditionally a yo yo club although I do agree strongly that we have squandered our chances to be an established PL club which is a disappointment.
