I wouldn't when it means you've missed out the young, idealistic stage and gone straight to old fogey tory boy. What happened to you? :P

Young fogey is all the rage now. Crying at old films, reading books, listening to the radio. It's marvellous.

And you avoid anti-semitism.

Always when I go to the Racing or National Hunt Moose.

On a similar theme to earlier, why do we venerate suffering and stoicism, like with those ridiculous memes about what the youth of yesteryear had to do compared to today? Suffering is given a moral value, as though there is something about being miserable and keeping a stiff upper lip while falling apart mentally that is worthy of praise.

Surely the whole point of suffering in the past is that it doesn't have to happen as much in the future and that is a good thing? Or is it just a masochistic enjoyment of it for its own sake?

What a strange final sentence.

Still, your age explains why, having not researched properly, you keep talking about the 70s the way you do.

Jordan Henderson is a good footballer.

He occasionally has good games for Liverpool, but he always shits the bed for England.

He's no Neves ;)

I don’t like dogs

You know what, Rob1742, I’d always had you down as dog lover so this has come as a surprise. Why hadn’t you mentioned anything about it before?

Coke is horrible. The drink

Too sugary to drink regular and I'd never touch a 2litre bottle. I enjoy the odd can when I'm abroad though.
