Every driver should have to retake and pass their driving test annually, same as a car has to pass an MOT. If it's true that 95% of car accidents are caused by driver error, then isn't it about time the 'nut behind the wheel' was tested regularly?

Nanny-state freak !!

Who pays!!?

Rugby League is a far superior form of the game,to watch than Union.

This from someone who played Union to an ok standard for a lot of years.

bang on. was never fussed by it until i started my job that involves watching it quite often and it’s well better. rarely get a boring league game even if it’s low scoring, most rugby union games are boring.

only issue is the over use of video replays. i get that they need to get it right but there’s a few times in every game where they have a try on the field and spend 3-4 minutes watching replays when it was obvious even from a dodgy tv camera angle in real time there was literally nothing wrong with it. and then they find a dubious obstruction 4 passes back and rule it out. does my nut in, that.

Both forms of rugby are shite. If you want to watch a skilful, tactical team ball game then you've got football. If you want to watch aggression and physicality then you've got all sorts of fighting. If you want to watch men getting hot and sweaty then there's the gay category on pornhub.

I'd suggest that American Football is a far more skillful and tactical team ball game than our football which is becoming a sport more concerned with hairstyle than playing style.

“More corncerned with hair style than playing style” that’s like a typical newspaper website online comment. Not really true, yeah there’s more celebrity bollocks nowadays but the Champion’s league games this week were fantastic.

Agreed. Ronaldo hair was particularly well laquered and the highlights in Griezzman's were a great contrast to the sending off in the 10th minute.

I love American football, very interesting tactically and the players are incredibly athletic. But association football is the beautiful game and far more skillful. Rugby can be good but is very boring 8/10 times.

rugby league isn’t tho, that’s the point. at the end of every set of 6 tackles there’s either a try, a kick to create a pretty good try scoring chance or someone getting taken out in the air and a punch up. then the other team have a go.

rugby union can be very boring when you’re on phase 24 and the ball has moved from the team’s 10 metre line to the half way line.

You'll probably find that young men have always been concerned with their hairstyle and old jealous men have always pretended it was different in their day. As far back as I can remember, there have always been those sort of complaints about football. It's still by far the world's most popular sport for a reason - because it's simply much better than any other sport.

It's a kid's game for thugs, but I quite enjoy it.

More or less the same in Ireland.

There is a huge bias towards Rugby Union in the media and a resentment towards Association Football and the national sport Gaelic Football. Never ending talk of the games being on their last legs and nowhere near as enjoyable as the so called good old days.

This despite the fact that both sports are either the most widely played and followed sports across the country and Rugby is nowhere near them.

Puel should stay.

Mahrez should go.

Mahrez had 1 decent season and the odd flash since.

Iheanacho will be our best player next season.

Harry Maguire is no where near as good as people say

It's because he can pass a ball people rave over him. Linked to the likes of United on here? No chance, not when they can go for any centre back in the World.
