I no longer work in London around their fans and our battle with Spurs was 10 years ago, so I don't care about them anymore.

For me its more a case of one of the so called "big clubs" going down......get sick of the sky six dominating everything.

Looking back, Andrea Bocelli singing at our trophy lift was a bit bizarre wasnt it?

There was a lot of bizarre stuff that day but Bocelli wasn't one of them.

Isn't he a personal friend of Don Claudio?

would you have preferred Rusty Lee just coming on stage and laughing into a microphone?

Not saying I didnt enjoy it, love a bit of Bocelli. Doesn't mean it wasnt a bit odd overall.

Anyone singing who isnt directly linked to the club would have been a bit strange, just doesnt fit for me

You watched Danny Simpson hold the Premier League trophy and what you thought was bizarre was the entertainment?

When you put it like that fair point lol

It's not the weirdest, when it comes to LCFC.

People lamenting low birth rates in various places around the world are totally misguided in one of two ways: either intolerant enough to just want more babies of one particular ethnicity (rather than more wholesale), and/or not acquainted enough with the problem to know that the incoming problems resulting from such a gradual decline are in fact the best bad option and all the other options are worse for the future.

Long term strategic project planning on scientific policy matters and the democratic process appear to clash horribly, and people are going to have to choose which consequences of not having one or the other (in matters of science policy only) they prefer - because it's becoming very clear the mindset of too many people means they can't coexist.

TL;DR version: get on with it!

....or pay the price for not doing so, yes.

Like I said, people have to choose which might be less bad.

Unpopular opinion....

Gorillaz is the best band that Damon Albarn has ever been in.

Define best.

Most popular, probably not.

Best songs, not for me though they have done some belters.

The best musically, not for me compared to Blur but then again I'm an Indie kid through and through.

It's never clicked with me for some reason, I don't really get it. Admittedly I haven't listened to an album of theirs all the way through but I just always think of them as a novelty not to be critically acclaimed

Well you are in the right thread tbf.

They're nothing more than than a well funded student art project / novelty act.

They're certainly not a novelty. They've done some brilliant tunes and the entire project is creatively unique and full of talented artists. Kudos to Damon Albarn for pulling it off, but then again he's a brilliant songwriter.

Second this, they were cringe at the time and nostalgia has done nothing for them either.

Might be unpopular as they seem to go down quite well on this forum but I can't stand the whole making up Leicester lyrics to songs. I've just saw one on Twitter where some guys made lyrics to Stan by Eminem about Harry Winks and it's proper cringy.

The ones that are intended to be funny, parody ones where they actually go through with the effort to make them (like on the BSLB's podcast) I've no problem with as they're actually quite funny. But it's all the others with the crappy lyrics to sad or slow songs that no one would ever sing where I'm thinking surely you've got better things to do with your time?

I vaguely remember someone on the old fox fanzine forum doing one about Stan Collymore to the same tune in autumn 2000. Was pretty good. But you're right they are usually awful.

Blur are brilliant musically/technically. Every Blur album is really different too, really innovative which is great in a musician/songwriter.

One of my favourite bands, Blur.
