Filberts lovechild Posted 15 September 2017 Posted 15 September 2017 25 years old this week. Fantastic the club are holding a party for all our little members on Sunday. I may be very bias but we pretty much have the coolest / most recognisable mascot about. I've lived in different parts of the country and all know Filbert, can't say I know likewise for other clubs! To all those interested Vicky or Dennis aren't coming to the party, looks like they've been retired for good ?

You only have to look at the gash costume chumps running about at Arsenal and United for example. Embarrassing efforts. Big up Filbert, happy birthday m8.

Last season I was at Mansfield V Pompey and Sammy Stag was sat on a plastic chair at the side of the pitch looking bored out of his skull. Obviously the regular Sammy had chucked a sicky and they'd hired some kid from Pertemps or got one of the youth team to deputise. Eventually, someone in a suit emerged from one of the boxes, strode over and gave him a right bollocking which prompted him to get up and lop around the perimeter of the pitch - Problem was, the antlers were so heavy and cumbersome his head kept coming off and he had to permanently hold on to one to keep it on. This is priceless though...
Vlad the Fox Posted 15 September 2017 Posted 15 September 2017 I remember filbert in his young and reckless youth, he'd climb into sk1 at filbert street, climb onto one of the railings giving it large while inhaling an air horn. he was a proper lad back then, I think Vicky calmed him down a lot.
