Rochdale deserve huge credit for not doing that every man behind the ball tactic most lower teams do against a big side. It was some serious effort in the last twenty or so by them to be competitive

I said red straight away, full speed, his foots high. I'm not sure on second look but at full speed looks red. Delph is horrible anyway.

 

Not surprised it's kicking off, Cook is very passionate as is Pep evidently.

One of those ones where if a player for your team got sent off for that you're furious but if someone does it against you it's a straight red, 50/50. For me it's not a red. Yes, it's a strong challenge which if he wrong it's a red, however, he won the ball. 10 years ago that's not even a foul. If the Wigan player gets straight up the ref just gives him a yellow. No idea what the ref is doing though writing the players name on his yellow then sending him off, just makes him look like he hasn't got a clue.
