Let's face it...

This season under Shakespeare we're going to be in a relegation dog fight.

King and Ndidi are just not good enough and we have no other options available.

We're f**ked!!

Can't go on playing one in midfield any more (I'm not counting King).

Joking aside, I'm really disappointed to not have at least a point from that game.  If you had asked me after the first 20, I'd have been happy to just get a goal, or not be crap.

We really need to go back to some basics, get a shape, and start keeping the ball more. We're giving it away way too much and not stopping chances.  I think we also need to get a bit fitter, we seem to be getting out run by teams too.

Do we reckon Nige got a return Eurostar ticket?

This is how 3/4 of the Nige prem season went... Losing by one goal.

Shakespeare doesn't get a pass just because we had a go in the second half.

That, in fact, sums him up. No desire to win the game until it's already lost.

We had a go second half but were still poor and the game was centred around 2 terrible defences.

Got what we deserved for that first half, it was pathetic. Just go for it ffs. Also only Maguire sprinting back for the third was criminal, Ndidi in particular should be embarrassed.

Henderson is such a snide player, always in the ear of the ref.

Annoyed by the decisions of some some of the players, annoyed by the rubbish ref. Keeper or Matip should’ve been off.

Maguire can’t be that type of player with only 2 in midfield.  We are being overran by every team.

This is tough run is over for now.

As with Chelsea and Huddersfield, had the chances to arguably win the game. As with Chelsea and Huddersfield, didn't turn up until we had a hill to climb.

Shakespeare is a reasonable reactive manager but the team and tactics are completely wrong until we're behind

Players worked hard but I just don't get what the gameplan is. Never been in favour of CS as manager and I'm still unconvinced.

I maintain that Ndidi looks like he needs a rest.

We're terribly disjointed. Everything that made us so strong two years ago has gone.

No cohesion.

No midfield duo to control the center - King and Ndidi in that combination are not starter material, probably never will be. Both with absolutely basic errors by giving the ball away, giving away silly fouls and not tracking back. Terrible attitude. King had one good moment, when he passed the ball to Vardy which led to the penalty.

Other than that, a more or less forgettable performance.

Mahrez more interested in himself too often than working for the team (although also a consequence of our lack of creativity, nous and experience in the middle).

Maguire with a couple of dangerous moves in the opposing half that endangered the solidity of our back four, allowing big gaps in the back. If you do that, you need somebody to cover for you!

Chilwell so-so-la-la, needs to work on his defending still. But how often am I going to say that in the weeks to come?

Vardy alone up front is a waste of player material, but we sadly don't have another Okazaki at the club as of right now. I think Slimani or Iheanacho should've been brought on earlier.

A draw would've been fair on the whole, but again we left it too late to respond. Complete surrender in the first 40 minutes, too cautious, too timid, no impetus.

Earth to Shakespeare, that can't happen again.

Season starts now

Agreed, why people expect us to beat the top teams is beyond me, yeah we won the league once...its over, we are aiming for mid table whether you like it or not.

If we had lost to west brom / Swansea / bournemouth / palace, I could understand the doom and gloom but unil then (hopefully not) cheer up and get some perspective.

I never thought I'd see the day but somebody has managed to take Wayne Rooney's title of most unpleasant referee-baiterer I've seen.

Take a bow Jordan Henderson. Next time bring a black kit and a whistle

(sorry for my bad english)

it's Craig fault to put vardy as a penalty taker... i never seen a penalty specialist that smash the ball like this.. no techniq at all just power... it's un professionalism just to put the star player to take the penalties because he is the star..

Second best first half, really hung in there. Way better second, found some impetus and ourselves abit, really not a fan of the marauding lumbering centre half giving the ball away in their half thing at all to be honest.
