Wymsey Posted 18 October 2017 Posted 18 October 2017 Still remembering the time people thought Pearson wouldn't return but he surprisingly did, can't find the thread for it. Was out of the blue that he did. Reckon it'll be another surprise.

stox259 Posted 18 October 2017 Posted 18 October 2017 Benitez. No chance Ashley will let an asset such as Rafa leave whilst selling the club. A manager like that will probably add a few million to the sale price.

This whole "Premier League proven" rubbish is what Sky want you to believe. It's no different from any other top flight league, if you're a good manager then you'll do well. Merson, Redknapp and all that lot at Sky constantly laugh off good managers (and players at times) because they aren't "proven" in the Premier League. What a load of crap, my opinion has nothing to do with what sky want me to believe. Proven in the lower leagues is completely different to being proven in the premiership I'm afraid.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 18 October 2017 Posted 18 October 2017 Frank Burrows is coming back, unfinished business according to Honigstein
Rusko187 Posted 18 October 2017 Posted 18 October 2017 Dyche will be good for us, he'll have many pound notes to spend and will sort the team right out. Personally hope he brings a new style with him.

Molson Canadian Posted 18 October 2017 Posted 18 October 2017 "Are you flexible enough to get your head in the sand?"
Molson Canadian Posted 18 October 2017 Posted 18 October 2017 BASED ON THIS VIDEO. Alan Pardew is not fit for us, he couldn't even stand up to big Nigel to protect his own player. NIGEL we need him back!

winteriscoming Posted 18 October 2017 Posted 18 October 2017 I don't know if they have been mentioned but marcelo bielsa (lille) and vincenzo montella (ac milan) are both struggling. I would be interested if they went.

I agree with you to some extent but imo we need a manager who been in the premier before so we know what we’re getting otherwise I believe we’ll be in this position again in 12 months.

Saxondale Posted 18 October 2017 Posted 18 October 2017 Some of these names being thrown about won't come because they're not going to leave their current club. Benitez, Howe, Dyche, Wagner, etc. Our next manager will be picked out of the football manager dole queue.
Saxondale Posted 18 October 2017 Posted 18 October 2017 Oh, and this Pearson stuff smacks a bit of Billy Davies with his Unfinished Business. So, no.

The guy is a hero, not just for everything he did for the club but how he gets middle aged men absolutely foaming at the mouth in fits of rage
