PintsandPyro Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 The fact we have sacked him weeks before the international break indicates a replacement is already lined up.
Rusko187 Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Thank you Shakey for all the loyal years with us, unfortunately I think the managerial position was just a step too far. Would have preferred him to step down but can understand the decision all round. All the best with the future.

Max Power Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Correct call but I don’t trust Rudkin/Whelan/Top to make the correct appointment. We need a major shake up imo. Allardyce makes sense and would keep us up but we need some outside of the box thinking. Someone with different ideas and a strong personality.

We hear this all the time but The drinkwater situation should show you that they aren’t the best at getting replacements sorted out in time
Guest TheBear Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Seen rumours on Twitter from a Huddersfield account that our owners were big admirers of Wagner, even more so after we played them...

Except we sacked Ranieri and had nobody lined up, and Pearson. I have no faith in the even thinking about it until they sack him.
StriderHiryu Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Nantes are 5th in France and just two points from 2nd place. Their manager, one Claudio Ranieri ...

General Smuts Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Urgh. This kind of smells like a knee jerk reaction. He's been hung out to dry by the recruitment team here. That will only get worse when we bring in an horrorshow replacement like Strachan or Pardew or Moyes. Urgh, If De Boer or Tuchel or maybe even Karanka are lined up I could maybe forgive the sacking but we really need to be looking up the chain for the failings.

MrSpaM Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Who the F*** is going to be in charge of the team until we find a replacement now
lestajigs Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 What's all the hate with Sam?? We need to stay in this league, at the minute we are not, sams record for Keeping teams up is spot on
Callabinho Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Tomas Tuchel gets it done... or Wagner would be a decent alternative

Pretty sure the vast majority were more than happy with his first few games... Nobody wanted to see Shakey fail. He's been the benefactor of an awful lot of goodwill in fact, but the league table and our performances can't be ignore. That would essentially amount to negligence on behalf of the owners. I know you're Mr populist humdrum splinter bum but don't act like people didn't give Shakespeare a chance because that's just not true.
