Partnership at the wc??

Double espressos all round please! Just haven’t got going. Good result and since Brady went off we’ve looked better but this is a huge step down compared to mid week. Maybe some of the boys are tired?

Pleased to be one up but haven’t really deserved it. But if we wake up we should have too much. Maguire has been fantastic today.

Are they missing Brady this much?  The ball is no longer getting into the danger zone.

You could say he was their highway to the danger zone...

Match changed when Brady went out.  Burnley wasn't nearly as dangerous.  I'd think Claude stays with what he's got for at least 15 min to see if they can generate something but Vardy needs to be involved more.

Yeah, we’ve been pretty poor so far if we’re honest

True but it's really hard to look good against Burnley with the way they are playing this season. 1-0 up probably flatters us a bit but can't complain.

Wilf looks knackered.

They're a rough physical side, on borders of getting away with it mostly. Losing Brady is a huge blow though, they need to figure things out to get anything. We need a good second half please

I am quite enjoying this. Burnley are exactly the sort of team we need to be beating if we want to push for Europe. And we are doing OK. We are playing them at their peak and our defence is coping. We have created chances. Iborra and Ndidi not up to their performances on Tuesday, but Shinji's energy towards the end of the game will win us this.

Winning but undeservedly. Something needs to change or we'll end up drawing/losing this.

Again we look poor defending corners and free kicks! Chilwell has given Mee a free header on two occasions.

Burnley look well organised and hard to break down.

Really think we should look to get Shinji into the game. The lads are just a step slow today, and we are incredibly fortunate Burnley isn't anything close to clinical or we'd be losing.

Those arcing corners that keep finding Burnley players' heads, we have been very, very lucky with those. IDK how we haven't conceded, all I can think is those corner kicks just have so much movement, even the Burnley players cannot get a handle on precisely where they are headed. But we need to avoid set pieces at any cost, they are a nightmare every time, all those free headers.

They had > 60% possession until Brady went out.  Reversed since.  NBC shows it as roughly even at the half.

This is how the game should go at their place. At the KP, we should be the team with the initiative.

My worry is we don't seem to have a clear idea of how to break down their defense. If we get going on the counter, when we don't have to think of anything but getting fwd, we seem ok, but when we have the ball on the wings, or in the middle of the field, there just doesn't seem to be a clear idea of what we want to do with the ball.
