Their keeper never made a save, not 1 of our players deserves more than a 5/10. For all his crap first half Benny was our best player second half, which just tells you how shit the rest of them were. Absolute disgrace. Complete lack of ambition shown by anyone. We moan about a fixture pile up and have ended up with another game. The manager is a ****ing idiot too. What sort of side and tactics was that. Looked like we went for a draw. Boring boring puel.

Puel probably just wanted to give Silva and some fringe players 90 minutes of matchday experience, then attack Fleetwood in a replay.

Still, no shot on goal against a League 1 side - and our side wasn't that weak, not on paper at least.

Was expecting a little bit more of Silva, and that was before that collision.

Barnes - playing for Fleetwood today.

Benalouane, highly risky playing style once again. Nothing new there. A bit of a fraudster at centre-back, more apt in a CDM-like position, though.

Slimani completely isolated, no service from neither James nor King.

Gray willing, but somehow holding back.

Coupled with piss-poor passing and a general lack of any kind of scoring intent, at times we didn't cross the halfway line for minutes.

 

Absolutely forgettable.

Fans should be reimbursed for what they had to endure today.

Don't post often here, but that was worst performance I've ever seen from lcfc, shameful. Better get a result against Chelsea to make up for it,or puel should get the f**k out.

Drago, James and King stood out as particularly poor performers. No one was good, per se, but Benny did okayish and I thought Shinji and Albrighton sparked things a tiny bit.

 

Not that it's any excuse but that pitch is bloody awful. Not as bad as that diabolical performance, though.

Gray - was he playing? Slimani - was he playing? King - Does he know how to pass forward? Barnes - Not ready yet Chilwell / Amartey - Did ok James - Offers nothing.

Gutted for Fleetwood TBH, they fully deserved the win.  Almost feel like we should give them a bye into the next round as at least they give a toss.

At least I hope that Puel understands that King and James are just not good enough for Premier level. It's kind of sad that a defensive midfielder has to get 3 or 4 touched on the ball to pass it. Against high pressing teams (as fleetwood was) kills any midfield. 

 

Anyway, there were some good appointments, imo. I've always liked Chilwell and I think he's gonna be great if he has the chance. 

 

If Silva is played at the offense it's just gonna be a waste, he's a box to box and an intelligent and classy midfielder. Everything that King isn't.
