im not sad, only thing i think we really need is a rb. everything else can wait until summer

Agreed. Even the right back situation is under control currently. If we were to lose nobody but Musa Ulloa and Benaloune and sign no body, I'd be happy.

I don't think we desperately need new players.

Amartey's performances have eased right back concerns for now.

Would be happy if we tied Dragovic up and maybe signed a prospect like Maddison.

I'm happy with that, there are no obvious weak links in the team so we should only be buying the right player or not at all.

There is some deadwood I'd like to see go in Musa and Benalouane. Ulloa and maybe King could be offloaded for the right deal and Slimani should be cashed in on.

I think it's quite clear from the rumoured transfer bids (Benfica RB, £4.4million and Sarr 5million euros) that we are not welcoming overpaying at the moment. If there's a deal to be had, we will go for it.

I'd be happy with no more new arrivals, provided the outgoing business involved fringe players: e.g. Musa, Ulloa (with thanks for services rendered) & Benalouane

If Slimani goes, too, I'd like to see us bring in another striker. We'd be a bit short with only Vardy, Okazaki & Iheanacho as dedicated strikers, assuming Diabaté is not yet ready for 1st team action.

If anyone like Mahrez, Vardy, Maguire or Chilwell left, I'd want to see them replaced....but hopefully won't happen, at least until summer.

I would like a quality RB who can contribute more going forward, but I’m happy with the current squad as long as there are no major outgoings.

When was the last time we could say that? Is this the best shape the Leicester squad has ever been in?

Simpson's back in training and we weathered that storm quite well, to Amartey's credit. I'd be happy to end January just getting out some of the players we won't need.

I think the only reason we're not desperate for signings is because the league is so poor, leaving the chances of us being relegated minute, and accepting we're not good enough to do anything special. Nobody is actually totally happy with the squad, we must always be looking to improve.

We're clearly lacking quality in certain areas - there's question marks about every one of our defenders and our striking options from the bench are horrendous.

Getting shut of a few players is probably the priority in this window. And not really because we need the money or 'room', just purely because I'm fed up of seeing their names in the squad and hearing about them and they don't deserve to be here.

Agree with most on here. Would like the RIGHT RB to come in but don' think it's a minor concern right now.

Would like to see Ulloa, Moose and possibly king and Slimani going and maybe then, having a look for a good deal for a striker.

I'm not sure about Chilwell as a fullback and Fuchs is nearing the end.

I'd like to see an upgrade on Simpson, someone who can move the ball forwards.

Happy with Maguire and probably Dragovitch but Huth is probably finished and Morgan can't have much longer.

We need a replacement for Shinji in the near future.

All of these can probably wait till Summer as the league is so poor but I'd like to see us make 7th and the sooner you get players in the better.

The January transfer window is hard to do business in and basically it's a sellers market, so stick with who we have regarding incomings and possibly get rid of some of the deadwood even if it's only loan deals. Look at some of the transfers that have happened Walcott gone to Everton for 20 million ridiculous.

I think Walcott is good value at £20m!!!!

It could of course all be a bit of a game- a message to selling clubs we are not Desperate for players and will NOT pay over the odds...

As another poster has said it all depends on who the outgoing players are. If it's fringe players then I'd be happy to see no new players come in but if it is one of our better players such as Vardy, Mahrez etc then I'd definitely want to see a replacement brought in.

This window for me was all about just getting rid of the deadwood in all honesty. 4 or 5 need to go so Puel can add quality to the squad without worrying so much about the wage bill.

To go:

Ulloa

Slim?

Musa

one of the keepers

If so it'll be 2.5 years without improvement (Or even back up!) for our defence barr Maguire.

Unbelievable, Incredible, Unforgivable.

Nah, overreacting considering the performance of said defensive players

It isn't only Maguire. We have Dragovic on loan who is proving to be very good and a new first team left back in Chilwell (a year ago he couldn't be considered that). We also have Amartey who is now a steady right back.
