Chelsea have agreed a deal with Roma for Dzeko apparently so they won't be in for Slim

Would have liked to see Dzeko here in our champions league season rather than slimanikong

Everyone was laughing at West Ham for doing this exact thing 2 summers ago. WTF are chelsea up to?

Only thing that makes sense with this and the Crouch and Carroll rumours is Conte trying to make a statement to his board.

In fairness to chelsea, i think very club that wants a  specific type of player will probably look into 10-15 different options for that one position, its just with them and in this instace its a specific type of need they have so every tentative inquiry is being leaked to the media.

Plus one or two made up of course haha

Would love for him to go there and bang them in tbh.

I’d love him to stay here and bang them in.

Really can you explain this statement. If their is any truth in this crouch carrol thing its Conte wanting the sack and a pay off.

Roma have denied agreeing on sell dzeko

They will, Roma can't turn down £30m for a soon to be 32 year old.

I hope they don't come back for Mahrez with the proceeds.

We're at the stage as club where our bench is like an exclusive Victorian gentleman's club.

Slim and Ian easily get past the bouncer: good reputation and bags of money.

If we get rid we'd only need to buy another expensive striker with a good reputation to keep that bench warm.

I say we keep Slim. I like him.

Leicester in talks with Monaco over loaning out Islam Slimani... but will sell him to a Premier League club for £20m

Leicester are asking Monaco for a £2.6m loan fee for striker Islam Slimani

The striker would prefer to stay in England but Leicester would want a £20m fee

Newcastle are monitoring the situation but are also eyeing up Nicolai Jorgensen

Leicester will only sell Islam Slimani to a Premier League rival for £20million - and are now negotiating with Monaco over a loan move.

Sportsmail understands that the striker - who joined the Foxes for £28m in 2016 - would prefer to remain in England, but that will only happen if a permanent deal can be struck.

Leicester are now asking Monaco for a £2.6m loan fee - the French club originally offered £1.3m - and an agreement is said to be close for the 29-year-old Algerian.

Only guesswork but only things that make sense are a) he's saying he's not getting enough backing and so is shopping in the bargain basement b) he wants the sack and pay off like you said.

So, after last night,  Slimani to Chelsea, Mahrez to Arsenal but where will our Algerian Fox supporters go?

Slimani to Monaco on loan has some legs over here. I wonder if we'll get that Monaco defender we're after in a linked deal.
