That's what possession brings you.

Yes, but also better pressing, defensive shape and organisation.

I wouldn't call it a 'must read' at all - unless you enjoy being bombarded by stats.

For those of us who watch every LCFC game, this article is just stating the bleedin' obvious. Far more observant and analytical views on our progress under Puel can be read on this forum.

Surprisingly they failed to mention the very important matter of the drastic reduction of the age of our defense.

To be fair that's more through circumstance than choice. Morgan & Simpson would still be starting had they not got injured. Now if Puel sticks with Dragovic & Amartey even when the other 2 are fully fit then credit must go to him.

They also stated that him bringing in  Iborra and Silva

has added experience and composure to the midfield. But Silva has hardly featured and didn’t they sign when  Shakey was in charge

Also if they both come back and have a great EOS....

Bit weird to compliment the signing of Silva when he has played about ten minutes of football

Nothing wrong with being frank about us signing a more experienced midfielder in Silva.

Yes yes and they don't say whether a quietly spoken manager can ever succeed in the shouty, shouty world of premier league management. A glaring omission that this forum has covered at quite some length.

And no hoof ball

This surprised me..i thought we had substantially reduced it... but....

Maguire has been key to a newfound willingness to play out from the back – only 17% of Leicester’s passes are long now compared to 20% under the two previous managers

a 3% reduction is neither here nor there.

It wouldn’t surprise me if those percentages were wrong in the article though

True enough, but that's all part of the fun!
