Mahrez is a selfish silly little boy.

Twice this has happened, clearly he has zero respect for us as a club.

He would jump ship sooner than you can blink.

Sell him for anything over £70 Million, get rid of the prat.

I support Leicester City, not Riyad Mahrez.

i was just quoting the last infos from reliable sources

there's no irony here

Mahrez did actually tell the owners he will not play again for LCFC

Well, he won't get paid. And I'll order an SAS assault team after him and his agent.

The club is a lot bigger than Mahrez. Glad we stuck to our guns with this and not get shafted. If Pep really wanted him he would already of been a Man City player ages ago, paying the right amount of money that the owners find reasonable.

who said the opposit

he's not a midlander to be asked more than his own ambitions

Man city is a team who could fulfill things for him ( who knows )

but the owners want another thing ( not letting him even try )

so he replied with that

simple no

lol That's fine, he'll be putting crosses in for berahino at stoke in two and a half years time.

at this point I’d rather he just left. wish we accepted this 65m + player deal from city because him doing this is clearly having a negative effect on both him and the rest of the team

Riyad Mahrez's Wife Responds To Manchester City Transfer Rumours, Then Deletes Tweet

Riyad Mahrez tried his best to force through a transfer to Manchester City this week but it looks like the deal is OFF after Pep Guardiola's side had four bids for the Algerian international rejected.

Leicester wanted a package valued at around £95 million for Mahrez, according to The Mirror.

But City's valuation was far off the mark and it seems Mahrez will stay at the King Power for the time being.

The report even claims that the 26-year-old didn't even turn up to Leicester training on Tuesday, which could cause further problems if he remains at the club.

With all the rumours emerging, Riyad Mahrez's wife Rita posted her thoughts on the matter on Twitter earlier, before swiftly deleting the post.

"Let him go! Let him go!" she said via her official Twitter account.

Following the news that Leroy Sane would be out for six to seven weeks with ankle ligament damage, it emerged yesterday that City were more than ready to splash the cash on Leicester winger Mahrez, but it seems that wasn't enough.

It is believed that Pep Guardiola's side lodged a €68 million bid for Mahrez, according to France Football.

On the other hand, Goal report that Pep Guardiola's side will make an 'audacious' bid to sign the 26-year-old, but City insiders believe that 'any possible move will be extremely difficult to conclude.'

It was certainly that.

If Man City get Mahrez, Pep will become only the second football manager in history, after Mourinho, to spend £1bn on transfer fees in his career; currently £960m. Pep in 10yrs as manager. Slight majority of his spend in 19 months at City. Mourinho in 18yrs.

Looks like the Mahrez deal is off. Pep is going to have to wait till summer to reach his £1bn spend. Have to make do for now with the £800m squad he's got; merely the most expensive in history.

I’m sorry, but I have no recollection of anyone forcing him to sign his lucrative 4 year contract.
