Stadt Posted 7 March 2018 Posted 7 March 2018 Remember when Puma were actively marketing giving a load of teams the same kit at the start of the season as if it was a good thing? Bring back local kit sponsors, bin the gold and get a decent kit manufacturer to give us the time of day to make a smart kit that's unique to us - Kappa or Hummel for example would look the business because it wouldn't be one out of a catalogue. 1

You may well prefer blue and gold but our historical colours are blue and white and that's the way it should stay IMO. No gold on this scarf. 3

No gold on this scarf. Our most famous historical moment was winning the league wearing blue and gold. However, if you don’t like it then the owners and the club better change it forthwith. You rightly point out the smiley emoji has no gold on his scarf and that’s a powerful argument in your favour.??

Kit spoiler Posted 10 March 2018 Posted 10 March 2018 Done deal with Adidas, sorry no bespoke....adidas will have their 3 stripes well on display in their current kit configuration.

That's normal for them Like saying Nike will have their standard 'tick' on their current kit configuration. Well, duh. 1

Samilktray Posted 10 March 2018 Posted 10 March 2018 I'd feel a bit robbed if we had an Adidas kit but they didn't stick the 3 stripes on the arms 2
Ted Maul Posted 10 March 2018 Posted 10 March 2018 Imagine they went a bit mental and did us a bespoke with trefoil logo and cuffed sleeves. 1 1
Nick Posted 10 March 2018 Posted 10 March 2018 I'd like a wide, round neck instead of a v-neck and blue with white stripes but I think sadly it'll be a v neck and blue with gold stripes with white and gold trim on the sleeve cuffs and neck. This could be the best kit we've ever had - I really hope they don't stuff it up.

Not exactly, Adidas still has their symbol on the chest as Nike does, the 3 stripes should be optional (although it appears its not). Only mentioned it because members on this thread were asking for a bespoke kit rather than the standard Adidas which is plastered with stripes.

The biggest clubs in the world have the 3 stripes on there bespoke kits, it's not even wishful thinking hoping we wouldn't have them it's unrealistic

lcfcsnow Posted 10 March 2018 Posted 10 March 2018 Nike always wins over Adidas for me as they always go overboard with the three stripes, especially on the arms sleeves it looks more like an adidas shirt than a football shirt. 2
ajthefox Posted 10 March 2018 Posted 10 March 2018 I hope our next home kit is gold with blue trim just for the comedy value/butthurt 1
