Its very strange that none of the big four have once again managed to draw each other.

The FA needs looking into.

Look into what exactly?

It's just the luck of the draw. It's impossible for it to be fixed and no one would agree to be part of it.

What have the FA done to upset you?

Lots of things, but I'm not going to get into them now.

The odds of it happening for both cups!! Sorry but I smell a fix.

I’m having a quiet Saturday, could someone take 5 minutes out of theirs to explain to me how exactly it would be fixed? Just out of interest?

Are we talking heated balls?

Staged draws?

Just wondering as many of these scenarios involve hundreds of people being in on it lollol

Also , we are probably going to have to beat the a couple of the top teams to win it anyway.

well yeah, you’d assume so. however now we’ll almost definitely have to play 3 of the top 4 to win it. if we’d have got a more favourable draw and shock horror one of the bigger teams had actually drawn each other for once we’d have a decent chance of getting to the final having been favourites all the way.

on the slight plus side it means that 7th has gone from looking like it will have a good chance of seeing us into the europa league to almost 100% being a european place.

Anyone thinking it's a fix needs to bear in mind that Michael Owen struggled with opening and subsequently emptying the ball sack.  And you think a fixer would trust him to pick the correct rigged balls?

Glad we missed Man City. Chelsea are probably in worse form than United or Spurs. I hope their champions league adventure continues on for longer. I guess our match won't coincide with their second Barca match?

It's a poor draw mainly because the other big sides have avoided each other.

It looks like we'll have to beat three top six sides if we're going to win the competition. It's one reason I don't get over excited about being in the Q

True. A trip to Wembley would be nice though.

Chelsea at home? Winnable. We were always gonna have to be one of the big 6 to get to the final really

Now we'll probably have to beat three top six sides to win it which is asking a helluva lot.

We may be in the QF but our chances of winning the competition are not much better than they were before Fleetwood. I'd have been much happier about this draw if two of the big guns drew each other.

Another example of certain balls spending an hour in the freezer before the draw by the look of of it!

Exactly this.

People who look for conspiracy attached to draws conveniently forget the times the scousers or mancs have drawn each other in 3rd or 4th round ties over the history of the cup. It really is the luck of the draw.

There have been lots of big 3rd round matches down the years. A fixed draw wouldn't allow that.
