Has anyone tried the Beer52 offer? I've had a promotional mailshot offering me £24 worth of craft beers for the cost of the postage only. If I accept the offer I agree to a monthly deal for £24 a month. It says there's no tie-in and I can bail out at any time even after getting the "free" offer.

I'm tempted but feel there has to be a catch. What do you guys think? Take the £24 worth of beer and then cancel?

On a Joseph Holt Two Hoots. One weekend closer to a beer garden lads, keep going!

There'll be queues a mile long outside the pubs with beer gardens. The police will have a field day stopping motorists travelling home.

Loads I know have done it and apparently it's a piece of piss to opt out of.

Agree with the above post. Did it a few years ago, paid £6 for postage got a handful of beers. Just remember to cancel on time and you are fine. That'd the catch, people who forget and that's how they make money (and of course the offers when cancelling, £10 credit I think was offered to me).

Yeh, I've done it multiple times, easy to get out of. If you stay o..their mailing list after cancelling they often send you deals

As others have mentioned,  it is straightforward to get out of but you can only cancel on the phone.   I think that is their way of trying to engage you to stay and to give you special offers.    Even a year on,  I received a special offer from them then and now.    It is somewhat similar to having a clingy but nice ex.

Stay Puft Marshmallow Porter by Tiny Rebel tonight-  I bought them last year in April ish but forgot all about it until now.   It is easy drinking but I cannot taste marshmallow at all?  Is it a subtle taste or?

It doesn’t taste anything like marshmallow apart from a bit of a sweet after note but it fly’s down your gullet a treat. Excellent beer.

Managed to pick up the after note halfway through.   As I said it is an easy drinking porter and I imagine it gets even nicer after two or three cans.

Been drinking my freshly brewed Stars and Stripes APA from my Pinter. First beer I have made and I'm really impressed. Added some extra brewing sugar to increase the ABV. Making a stout in it next.

Anyone else got a Pinter on here?

Don’t use them mate they’re ****ing god awful to buy from and their customer service team is beyond a joke. Got messed around horrendously by them!

My only plus point of using them was discovering a Viennese-style lager called Schremser (?)

Lovely stuff

I’ve been doing it for about six months, initially to get Christmas presents for a couple of mates who like trying new beers. Carried on doing it for myself last three months, but I do think it is expensive at £3 per drink. I realise postage etc comes into it, plus you get a monthly magazine, which I only flick through. However, this month has four or five stouts which are drinkable, but not my favourites. I am more an IPA man.

Going to give it one more month, but will then probably cancel. Unless you are somebody who keeps a record of every different ale you drink (like one of my mates!) then maybe take the free offer and bail out, especially as the pubs are scheduled to reopen soon.
