Great Boos Up Posted 17 May 2018 Share Posted 17 May 2018 He's still here so I'm backing him as the new messiah. I never went to Filbert Street expecting to be entertained, I just hoped we'd win. We've been a bit spoilt. I'm happy sitting pretty in the Premier league and hope he can improve the squad and keep them motivated.
TrentFox Posted 17 May 2018 Share Posted 17 May 2018 No. Sorry. Going to remain cryptic, but we’re talking very overt dacial and body language stuff. As I said, it’s been on my mind all day. I’d live to know where our ITK’s are at in their reading of this. But everything about this interaction said days numbered. I’d be in the know? Who knows how the pro grapevine works. But if I was a gambler - I’m not, as roulette doesn’t count ? - I know where I’d be lumping.
HighPeakFox Posted 17 May 2018 Share Posted 17 May 2018 This may well be true - but even someone such as your source will only be in receipt of rumours and gossip. It may be accurate.......but I'd imagine that, plenty of time, even people very close to the club get it wrong.

brucey Posted 17 May 2018 Share Posted 17 May 2018 Information that might have been accurate a week (or a few days) ago can easily be completely wrong now. That's the nature of managerial appointments and player transfers.

They did the same last summer and failed. Puel will remain unless they can get someone better in and he knows this as well as it was made clear to him that his days were numbered. Not a good scenario if they don't get anyone better in. For anyone. Theyll be transfer requests for some big players. 1

No particular affection for Puel, I just don’t think short-termism is the way to go. ☹️

Nigel Graham Pearson Posted 17 May 2018 Share Posted 17 May 2018 Why would Danny Simpson care about the manager? Won’t get a look in when Pereira’s here anyway.
Popular Post knitro Posted 17 May 2018 Popular Post Share Posted 17 May 2018 Everyone likes to act in the know and pass along cryptic nonsense from murky sources. The fact is there's a very real chance that absolutely none of the Puel out crowd has their finger on the pulse of what the Thai's actually think. We're sitting here with people convinced it's a matter of days or hours til the ax falls while in house they could be 100% on his side, recognizing a team in transition that had Mahrez throwing a mid-season tantrum at peak form and believing in his vision forward. I don't know, you don't know - some mystery train passenger doesn't know. What I do know is that rooting for Puel to fail is hallmark of shortsighted fans, and how we will end up relegated if you believe bandaid after bandaid is the solution and way forward. Patience is required here and I think at least the owner's get that.

LCFC FOX Posted 17 May 2018 Share Posted 17 May 2018 Can’t see him leaving now when we’re signings players. imagine we sign a player tomorrow, sack Puel the next day a new manager comes in and doesn’t rate the next player at all and he doesn’t suit his system. the players we’re close to signing as well fit into Puels style and players he wants. So it just wouldnt make sense to sack him after we make signings
