Four red cards this season. That's joint worst with Chelsea and Watford.

We're 13th on yellows though, with 44 (Watford 5th - 54, Chelsea 20th - 34).

Ndidi vs Palace

Amartey vs Man Utd

Chilwell vs Chelsea

Ndidi vs Brighton

All for second yellows too. Are we just unlucky? When was the last time we had so many?

Thoughts?

Radio Leicester said it wasn’t a second yellow and the BHA  player dived...  I haven’t seen it though

Didn’t look like there was any contact on my stream but it wasn’t conclusive, I’m sure match of the day will talk about it and the penalty in place of any actual analysis.

we got 4 in the season of the great escape if I remember correctly?

Konchesky x2 against Hull and Villa

Morgan against Liverpool.

James against Villa.

13 fouls resulting in 6 yellow cards (including Ndidi's two). We have had a few moments of madness (Amartey, looking at you), but generally we aren't that bad really.

Trying to look on the positive side, Ndidi could probably do with a bit of a break to get him through to the end of the season. Frustrating it will coincide with the big Burnley match though.

I thought Morgan was unlucky as he slipped but then he took the player out. The others were all fair yellows I thought except for Wilf’s second, which I thought there was no contact but if there was contact then he can’t argue.

The inconcistency of refs make that stat useless. Chilwell's red at Chelsea was well harsh and both Charlie Adam and Victor Moses somehow got away from King Power recently without getting sent off.

Half of our outfield players got booked today but I thought the referee was poor. Just gave a yellow for any foul in our half.

Apparently his dinner wasn't ready when he got home so the missus got a straight red ...

Refs are too quick to give yellow cards these days. And they are inconsistent too.

The fact none of our refs are going to the World Cup says it all.

Nothing to do with the quality of refereeing in this country which is on the same level as the rest of europe. Only reason there are no english refs is that clattenburg (the one shortlisted) ****ed off to saudi arabia so there was none on the list for fifa to choose from. Referees have a hard job and make mistakes but the english ones are no worse than others, just look at some of the refereeing we had in the champions league.

Ref was useless today, his definition for a yellow card is very different to most. The second yellow for Wilf looked a dive but even if he did catch him, was it dangerous ? Was it cynical? Was it stopping an immediate assist towards goal? No on all three.

Mad to think we had Konchesky in our side when we first came up. Even madder that we won the league a year after having him as our LB

All from fairly young players. We've committed a lot of fairly stupid fouls this season.

Although that one earlier was an absolute disgrace. That Ndidi's out for two games and Shane Duffy isn't makes it hard to take the sport seriously.

My thoughts exactly. I just wish the fa would take retrospective action against Duffy for diving. Probably won't happen but it should!

We might have been quite unlucky with most of the reds we have had this season but you could also argue that we have been a bit naive.

Amarteys V United was the stupidest of the lot, Ndidis first from memory was justified and Chilwell just showed his inexperience. Yesterday’s was a complete shambles, the ref booked our players for everything and it was clear someone was going to get send off from the first 10 minutes although again I guess that shows that we should have stayed composed.
