If the last 4 seasons have taught me anything, it is that the success of the team is completely reliant on a strong and dependable central midfield partnership.

Without that, everyone else in the team becomes unable to fulfil their roles.

I really don't understand why people are blaming the manager. I'm pretty sure he hasn't told them to stroll around not giving a shit. Or to keep giving the ball away. Or to just stand and ball watch. It's the players who need to be asking questions of themselves, but then they still get paid whatever the result don't they?

He's asking them to make sideways and backwards passes, play possession football.

Most teams play to their strengths, Puel actively has us playing to our weaknesses, week in week out. I'm not calling for his head yet, but I can hardly stand watching us lately.

Total pants.

Anyone who thinks the manager is fine and just blames the players forgets it's the managers job to pick, organise and motivate the players. It's what leaders do.

The moaners will be giving it Puel out, but we were by far the better side after going two down.

Can't score, though.
