Could lead to broken ribs, yet Rose was only a yellow, potentially more for consistent fouling than anything else? Of course, I don't deny the ref's inconsistency. Torreira's tackle looked nastier though, add to that a blank heated end game and you can see how it influenced the ref's mind. 1

Feel VAR will really reduce the level of inconsistency and influence of the crowd on the Ref in the future 1

UniFox21 Posted 2 March 2019 Posted 2 March 2019 Didn't even notice the encroachment of Vertonghen in the box, really hope they start picking this up
The Bear Posted 2 March 2019 Posted 2 March 2019 (edited) The difference between the Rose and Torreira challenges is the excessive force in the latter. Rose catches Leno in the chest which might be deemed a bit reckless, but he was entitled to go for it and didn't go in hard. Whereas Torreira went in too hard and was high as well which is classed as reckless and excessive force. Red card every time nowadays. Edited 2 March 2019 by The Bear 1
UniFox21 Posted 2 March 2019 Posted 2 March 2019 Oddsbible is a shit source, but this picture sums up the officiating today, how wasn't this picked up?

Jattdogg Posted 2 March 2019 Posted 2 March 2019 Spurs in a dogfight for champs league spot now with arsenal, united and chelsea all on there tails
The Bear Posted 2 March 2019 Posted 2 March 2019 Great goal from us. Quick one touch passing. Even Gary Birtles, who hates us in general, was purring.
surrifox Posted 2 March 2019 Posted 2 March 2019 About time Dyche realised that if you keeping picking planks like Bardsley that sort of thing is bound to happen
Guest seanfox778 Posted 2 March 2019 Posted 2 March 2019 Why did I go for Burnley today! They aren’t turning this around.
Nicolo Barella Posted 2 March 2019 Posted 2 March 2019 Its alright, Wolves have horrendous fixtures coming up, we can still finish above them

Stonewall penalty on Smalling was ignored earlier. Wherefore art thou VAR? Looks more and more likely the current bottom three are going down. Only a slight chance Cardiff could catch Brighton IMO.

We'll have to see how Rodgers pans out over the next few games, but apparently he is tactically stubborn which is what caused him trouble in Europe with Celtic against teams of a similar stature. I have a hunch that he might not be a great performer against the Top 6. Hope I am proven wrong though!

UpTheLeagueFox Posted 2 March 2019 Posted 2 March 2019 I'm at Molineux. The build up for the first Wolves goal - intricate, one touch passing - was top class. We'd be creaming over it if it was us.
