Koke Posted 8 May 2018 Posted 8 May 2018 I was thinking of Ramadan but reading the Stoke forum about him remind me of Demarai Gray http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/279206/sobhi
moore_94 Posted 8 May 2018 Posted 8 May 2018 If Swansea go down: Fabianski Mawson If Huddersfield go down: Mooy Stoke: Butland Shaqiri West Brom: Evans Gibbs Chadli (If we can get him fit again)
MC Prussian Posted 9 May 2018 Posted 9 May 2018 Stoke On a good day, Joe Allen. Kurt Zouma on loan from Chelsea? (Shaqiri) Moritz Bauer (Swansea) Fabianski Mawson Jordan Ayew (Huddersfield) Jonas Lössl Aaron Mooy Christopher Schindler West Brom Evans Gibbs Jay Rodriguez

These relegated threatened sides are better than I thought as foxestalk collectively wants to sign: 13 Southampton players 11 West Brom players 6 Stoke players 3 apiece from Huddersfield and Swansea Makes you laugh in the past we used to get he's shite his club have been relegated why would we want him type comments. Seems this year we want every player from every relegated club.
STUHILL Posted 9 May 2018 Posted 9 May 2018 Evans or Mawson and perhaps Gibbs and Rondon are the only ones I'd be interested in taking. People may sniff at Rondon but as a "plan B" option who can make an impact from the bench with Premier League experience and for just £16 million, I think it could be a decent bit of business. Vardy, Rondon and Iheanacho plus signing a decent no.10/ACM to share the role with Silva.
jayfox26 Posted 11 May 2018 Posted 11 May 2018 We should defo be signing Joe Allen but I doubt we will. I think he'd be perfect alongside wilf. Has a good passing range and is comfortable in possession. By far stokes best player. 1

FrankieADZ Posted 12 May 2018 Posted 12 May 2018 wow, im surprised no one mentioned Sam Clucas.............only for the fact a good few on here wanted him last season when Hull went down hes crap imo though

He should be prime example of how ridiculous the market has become.

He has flashes of class but for the most part plays like Darius Vassell (holds the ball to long, runs down blind alleys) he holds it up well but always seems to make the wrong choice. If you watch a lot of him you wouldnt want him in our team. Not the step up we need. He just gives off the illusion that he is far better than he really is. Alwas hard to drop a player putting the effort in that he does but I think this is part of the reason his clubs went down. Edited 12 May 2018 by Lambert09
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 12 May 2018 Posted 12 May 2018 Joe Allen please. Works hard and would suit us I reckon.
Edingleyfox Posted 12 May 2018 Posted 12 May 2018 Rondon always plays well against us big striker works hard so would take him with Evans. Should still have some money left to replace Mahrez and get in full back in place. Would also have a look at players from teams who narrowly miss out on promotion maybe Ben Gibson etc.Thought Tom Lawrence looked good last night but he never got his chance at Leicester
JoachimWasMyHero Posted 12 May 2018 Posted 12 May 2018 WBA Rondon - Prem Experience, think he would make a great partner for Vardy up top, big strong, holds it up well Ben Foster - Id rather him over Kasper all day long Stoke Jack Butland - Think he will end up somewhere like Liverpool though Shaqiri - Can make something happen on his day, a little like Mahrez. Peter Crouch - Some may laugh but i would definitely look at him. If Slimani goes, good to stick on last 10 if not going right, always got goals in him Swansea Alfie Mawson - Replace Big Wes, partner Maguire
