Rogstanley Posted 28 April 2018 Posted 28 April 2018 Pearson / Shakespeare / Walsh Just do it and get it over with ffs. 4
Merging Cultures Posted 28 April 2018 Posted 28 April 2018 NP. And the owners, Rudkin etc, need to let him do his job. He can build a club from the ground up - unfortunately, it seems like he'll nearly be doing that if he did come back (a bit of hyperbole because we are safe in the PL this season... but...). 3
winteriscoming Posted 28 April 2018 Posted 28 April 2018 Marco silva Eduardo berrizo Vincenzo montella Quique sanchez flores Marcelo bielsa Lucien Favre Chris hughton Please don't be predictable and go for brits like big Sam. The only one I like is hughton.
ARTY_FOX Posted 28 April 2018 Posted 28 April 2018 Bring a young manager in and let him clear the squad out. Including some of the bigger personalities. Let them know nobody is untouchable from the off and give him the world to splash on players. 1
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 28 April 2018 Posted 28 April 2018 Let the dust settle, clear our heads and see who comes to us. I think we’ll get a decent appointment, a manager who is in a club and done well, but needs to move on to step up to the next level. 1

Greg2607 Posted 28 April 2018 Posted 28 April 2018 I understand the clamour for Pearson, he built the foundations for the club. But I don't think he is the man to rescue us. He has never attracted the interest of another premier league club, he struggled at Derby without Shakespeare and Walsh. I'd be looking for a manager who plays a high intensity style and someone who can develop players on a budget. I don't know WHO that is, I don't know enough about European football. But we must be an attractive proposition to someone that fits that mould. 2
