Looking decent for Swansea tonight.

I think we'll be making a huge mistake if we let him go. Could certainly do with him right now in midfield.

He's been brilliant for us over the years and has never moaned despite not really being first choice for years now.

I think he's good for the squad, loyal and experienced. I'd like to see him back next season around the first team setup.

It may be that he'll have better opportunities elsewhere which would be a shame really.

He’s knocked the ball back and sideways but other than that done nothing great.

People moan that we retain the ball slowly and he’s not even in the side. It’s a massive no thanks for me.

Love the guy, and he is the definition of a club legend, but the only time I want to see him in a city shirt again is in his at his testimonial.

We need to move on an upgrade our entire squad.

He's not really doing anything, just short passes that ticks the game over, pedestrian match with barely anyone attacking.

He'll probably be back though, him, Silva and Mendy would be Puel's wet dream of a midfielder three.

he had the only shot on target up until Austin had his shots towards the end of the first half.

He's been nothing special but who else has? It's a six-pointer between 2 very poor teams overall in a relegation fight.

The squad has too many Andy kings! Basic/average footballers. I include Albrighton in that list. We want to be top 6!  Albrighton is poor on corners and has no pace. We need better throughout the squad

‘‘tis strange that any player not in the current team suddenly becomes essential and their value to us escalates.

Not too many of us were complaining when King was loaned to Swansea back in January. Now he’s suddenly an important cog in our current broken midfield. Incidentally I think at this point on form we are the worst in the Prem so any midfielder would be a welcome addition from Richie Wellens to dare I say Junior Lewis ?. Well maybe not that much.

He looked better tonight than any one playing for us on Saturday, but then he hasn't got Puel as his manager and he had a shot on target with first 20 minutes which bettered our first after 85 mins on Saturday :)

Tbf to puel he has given youth a chance and got rid of a lot of crap/average players like king, sliamani, ulloa as well as dropping the very poor Simpson. For someone so quiet and lacking authority he’s not minded doing that

The thing with King is that he probably does more good in the dressing room than he does on the pitch and sometimes that is invaluable.

At the minute he would be a guaranteed starter.

Main reason I wanted him to succeed, watch the next manager come in and give everyone another chance maybe a few contact extensions to get the ‘boys’ onside.

I’m still wondering if a summer transfer window and time to work on his English could be key. His football is dross yet Ben arfa at nice completed more dribbles than Messi that season they had together and perreira was bombing forward from right back like Kyle walker. Two players we’ve been linked with

Would suit the game plan under Puel perfectly then.

Difference is, Swansea are on the brink of being a championship team, and we are (hopefully) pushing for regular top 7 finishes..  He should stay at Swansea even if they go down.

An amazing servant for us, but why should we allow average players take up valuable squad places when we can do better.

It won't be a big mistake.

If we can get a £6m fee for a squad player who is 30 in October that's great business.

We already have about half a dozen players ahead of him in his position.
