gerrytaggart Posted 8 May 2018 Posted 8 May 2018 Severe lack of respect from some complete muppets whenever Andy King is discussed

Had an amazing career for us but I don't want him to be sat on our bench with limited to no game time, wasting the latter years of his career, when he could be starting every week elsewhere and making a real impact. I actually think I have more respect for him, wanting him to move and get game time elsewhere. Should be playing week in week out.
FLAN Posted 8 May 2018 Posted 8 May 2018 I doubt they will want him. Hardly pulled up any trees as expected.

For someone so quiet and lacking authority he’s not minded doing that ....not too sure about giving youth a chance!!
Channy'sboots Posted 8 May 2018 Posted 8 May 2018 Dressing room spirit has gone to the dogs since he was bundled out the door. He was the shop steward, basic standards have visibly slipped, even down to the flouting of match day dress code: Trainers, Caps. They’re a rabble without King’s professionalism.
Tuna Posted 8 May 2018 Author Posted 8 May 2018 Stoke get relegated after getting rid of loyal experienced pros Bardsley, Whelan and Walters. Keeping players like Kingy around is important for squad morale. If he's happy to be a backup player here then great, but I'd understand if he wants to play more at this stage of his career.

Sol thewall Bamba Posted 8 May 2018 Posted 8 May 2018 Opening game of 2018/19, King captain, Pearson manager. Foxestalk goes under.
brucey Posted 8 May 2018 Posted 8 May 2018 Swansea's form has tanked badly since Kingy joined - had a great first game but abysmal thereafter. Although it could just be their new manager bounce wearing off. https://www.whoscored.com/Players/32018/Fixtures/Andy-King https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/259/Fixtures/Wales-Swansea

Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 9 May 2018 Posted 9 May 2018 Did anyone look decent in that game? It was a terrible standard and bad advert for the Premier League. Another player who has been a great servant, but no thanks. We are and we aspire to be better than Andy King now.

ZeGuy Posted 9 May 2018 Posted 9 May 2018 No. Ship has sailed. I wish him all the best but he'd only be useful in the dressing room. Not on the bench, let alone on the pitch.
somebum Posted 9 May 2018 Posted 9 May 2018 Certainly one of the best posts i have read for quite some time, thanks i needed a laugh
