Wet spam are spending a lot this year.

Meh, not exactly solid signings though. I'd take Maddison and Evans over Wheelchair and Anderson personally. They're both classic West Ham failure signings.

Disappointing to miss out, but a bit of a risk at that price. He's streets ahead of all of our wingers though, and so is Yarmolenko- West Ham doing some good business this summer.

He might not be worth that but West Ham certainly mean business. Hope we can make a huge signing with the Mahrez Money as what we are left with without Mahrez is not good enough for top 6/7.

I fear more like bottom 6 as he was the difference between mid table and Top 6/7.

plus with CP in charge I fear we could be in for a long long season

Both big risks. Yarmolenko had a fairly average season last year due to injury and various things and Anderson i believe i read was fairly inconsistent. It'll be hit and miss whether they settle or fit into the league well. West Ham have spent big and there's a big risk the number of new signings simply won't click, look at Everton and even Man City when they first started chucking money at the team

Jury's out on Yarmolenko for me.

I suppose any signing is a risk for clubs of our size when you're paying over £20m. We're never going to get the finished article either- we have to take punts on players who aren't guaranteed to adapt or have had indifferent seasons in the hope that they step up.

Very true. West Ham are also a risky club to go to due to the fanbase/owner situation and tensions there. But we shall see how they get on, will be a good mid-table battle this year

West Ham's squad is ok, but they have far too many inconsistent players. All players are inconsistent to some degree but Arnautovic, Yarmolenko, Felipe Anderson, Lanzini (less so), Carroll, Hernandez and Wilshere all blow hot and cold far too often. They've got a lot of players on their books too so I can see them falling foul of FFP.

Not as many players as we have!

Wet Spams main problem is going to bee keeping all their players fit. Think they will get buried with injuries. Just about everyone of their recent signings have had injury problems and now they add Wiltshire  and Anderson who has also had injury and attitude problems. It’s an aging squad as well. If they go down it’s going to be a financial mess on the scale of Villa for them. I think they are going to stink this coming season and see them being in the relegation mix come next March.

I personally don't think they are, overpriced and both relative failures at their previous clubs. If they don't perform they'll be stuck with a couple of players who they can't move on with big wages.

Much like we have with likes of Slimani. Musa, Mendy, etc and we'll struggle to sell them on even at a loss. Time will tell I suppose but rather them than us with Yarmolenko and Anderson.

Yep they have announced today that Winston Reid and Andy Carrol are out for 3 months each with injury

Can see West Ham being similar to Everton of last season. Chucking loads of money at it but not necessarily getting a good balance in the team.

Hoping to see them flop just to see the reaction from the Dildo brother's and Brady.

It's a gamble signing lots of players but they seem to be covering the areas they needed to strengthen where as Everton signed 6 number 10's when what they really needed was a Lukaku replacement and younger defenders.

Hopefully, but Pellegrini is a good manager so I’m not sure.
