Lovejoy Posted 15 June 2018 Posted 15 June 2018 Isn't he finished these days? Surely this isn't a serious link?
Callabinho Posted 15 June 2018 Posted 15 June 2018 It’s actually really sad to see what’s happened to him. A couple of years ago he was supposed to be Germany’s next big thing....

Went back to dortmund where he was hit with the metabolic disorder, so he had to sit out for 6 months ish. Just a combination of so much bad luck
EnderbyFox Posted 15 June 2018 Posted 15 June 2018 I’ve read he’s on 150k a week at Dortmund, no chance he’s coming here.

Clever Fox Posted 15 June 2018 Posted 15 June 2018 Based on his Medical condition I cant see us sign him. But a loan with an option to buy might be worth a punt.

Jesus, Wes Morgan should have been put out to pasture years ago! 34 appearances since going back to Dortmund in 2016 due to Myopathy doesn't fill you with confidence admittedly, but even to have a slight interest all things considered wouldn't be a bad idea. Maybe he needs to rethink about his career, a move to England could work, admittedly I think there is more chance Klopp taking him but id still be interested

Katy Posted 15 June 2018 Posted 15 June 2018 Nein. Not a chance he will come here. He’s already said in the media that he’d like to link up with Klopp again, not sure how he’d get on there though.
ealingfox Posted 15 June 2018 Posted 15 June 2018 Genuinely wouldn't even want him these days. Not fit, on massive wages and made of biscuits. Swerve all day long.
foxy boxing Posted 15 June 2018 Posted 15 June 2018 We Gotze go for him! but i doubt very much if he would come here.

As others have said, really tragic career trajectory for a kid that scored a world cup winning goal. May quite possibly never get back to his best. It'd be even riskier than Liverpool and Fekir.

Had a couple of really tough years recently, but from what I gather, he's pretty much recovered fully and is on the track back to his former self. Maybe not as agile and energetic when he was lauded Germany's Next Big Thing, but getting there. As for the transfer rumour, it's pretty much bollocks. He's cancelled his wedding in order to impress Dortmund's new manager Lucien Favre with some personal training ahead of the summer training camp. You're not going to do that when you're thinking of going out on loan. Won't be coming here. Rumour is büllcräp. Edited 15 June 2018 by MC Prussian
lcfc sheff Posted 15 June 2018 Posted 15 June 2018 He's still better than anything else you can get for £18m on this market and would be an improvement on anything we've got.
Ted Maul Posted 15 June 2018 Posted 15 June 2018 Worth a go on loan. High wages, but we could guarantee him first team football if he's fit and he doesn't have to commit to us if it works out well and bigger clubs start to want him again. Ambitious, but you never know. If he's a crock, we haven't paid a massive transfer fee for him. 1

Ian Nacho Posted 15 June 2018 Posted 15 June 2018 Big name player but I think he's finished from all the problems he's had.

There's a few videos on YouTube of his games in the 2017/18 season, to me he still looks a good player and his injuries perhaps have only stopped him reaching the top elite levels but for 18m he'd still be a bargain. However I do agree with most his wages would be a problem so perhaps a loan would be best at first to see if he's worth it. 1
Grebfromgrebland Posted 15 June 2018 Posted 15 June 2018 (edited) I'd love him to revive his career with us Edited 15 June 2018 by Grebfromgrebland

Swap one of the best teams in Europe, a title challenge and CL every year for a mid-table team with a possible relegation fight at the end of the season. Yeah, right. People saying he's finished, worth a loan or even think he could set a foot here need a reality check. Badly. Edited 15 June 2018 by ZeGuy
