How can we be so dominant and now look like this.

They have loaded themselves with forwards chasing the game and we aren’t putting pressure on them - we need to try and make half a dozen quick passes to get forward with some control

Players seem to have given up, fans seem to have given up, it looks like those cocky Colombian supporters will get the bragging rights.

You felt it necessary to say he hasn’t touched the ball. Guessing that was more a criticism ofnEngland rather than Vardy himself?

correct, since he came on England have been very poor, they dont know how to use him and sadly ("hate to say") it makes him look bad, when in fact it is the side around him.

Can't help but feel we've missed a real trick not bringing some ball players with us, Shelvey, even Wilshere.

What on earth was the point of brining Fabien Delph?

Awful half. Dier stays so deep, Henderson needs to link up with the only three attacking players left, there's an absolute gulf at the moment between them. Heads up lads, don't collapse mentally.

I don’t think we’ve given up. Just being over ran in midfield

2 shots on target all night.

Not good enough to progress IMO.

Where will this leave us if we do go out?

Victories against Tunisia and Panana were expected.  It would have been a catastrophe if we'd have not won those.

But the games against actual football teams...left severely wanting.

The Lingard, Alli and Sterling experiment must never happen again.

Southgate really should have worked on a plan B to incorporate Vardy. He was isolated for the 1st half of extra time and he was also isolated during the half-time huddle, had to push his way in to hear Southgate.

Hope I'm wrong and he gets some service, rather than having to spread himself thin for no reward.
