It's such an awkward one - I get why they brought the rule in RE: no red for being the last man, as in most cases, the penalty is punishment enough, but yeah, it does kind of feel like in that situation it's a get out of jail 'free' card.

A defender should do everything in his power to stop the ball going into his net. Suarez and Jorgenssen were absolutely right to do what they've done.

That's going to be really harsh on Modric if Denmark go on to win the shootout, I think he's been really good in this World cup.

It does if he scores a penalty, or if it doesn’t deter people hacking someone down in future because there’s no punishment.
