stripeyfox Posted 1 August 2018 Posted 1 August 2018 I think it was Forest's new 40,000 stadium which would have got the nod...
Babylon Posted 16 August 2018 Posted 16 August 2018 If I was to guess it would be a 6000 seater arena (to be used on match days as a complex to serve food and drink and show games) house other sports and concerts, with a Wembley way type feature down to the new two tier stand with curved roof and back. With water front all being redeveloped, to have retail, hotel, communal areas. With the aim to make the area a constantly used piece of the city, not just match days. If i was to guess.
lcfc81 Posted 16 August 2018 Posted 16 August 2018 That would be amazing. I am also pleased they are going to do something with the water front, they could make a really good job of it.

Fox in the North Posted 16 August 2018 Posted 16 August 2018 Behind the east stand up to Aylestone Road if the forum on SkyscraperCity is correct.
Spudulike Posted 16 August 2018 Posted 16 August 2018 Is there anyone else that's seen the plans able to guess what it might be like ?? Perhaps your guess might be similar to Babylons
Babylon Posted 16 August 2018 Posted 16 August 2018 28 minutes ago, urban.spaceman said: Arena based where?! Well my guess was that it was on the land opposite the stand being developed. With a mini Wembley way type path linking the two stadiums. The curved roof wasn't just your standard curved roof in my guess. It curved in ways that you wouldn't imagine. There were also corporate boxes between the two tiers of the stand. In my guess.

TrentFox Posted 16 August 2018 Posted 16 August 2018 How is anyone reading any other thread than this? This is amazing if true.
KFS Posted 16 August 2018 Posted 16 August 2018 This sounds brilliant. Wonder what the traffic plans are? Surely someone will kick off about that given the complaints about the training ground
TrentFox Posted 16 August 2018 Posted 16 August 2018 My guess is that there will be a multi-storey car park on top of the curved roof. Just a guess. ?

Suppose there guess is as good as yours. ?
