Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 August 2018 Posted 6 August 2018 (edited) When will people learn that wingless formations don't work in today's game Edited 6 August 2018 by peterborofox

Winning the ball higher up the pitch tbh. I’m not against wingbacks but personally I’d prefer 3 at the back of we are going to use them as our only wide outlet. 3

Personally i'd like to see the same as you. 1
AyewJoking Posted 6 August 2018 Posted 6 August 2018 Drinkwater on loan is admitting iborra, silva havent met standards. Choudury, Barnes remain prospects and King, James just aint good enough. Have i missed anyone?

It's asking a lot to have them operate as wingbacks in a system where it's critical they are a big chunk of the defence. Need 3 centre backs to let them have the freedom to bomb up front.
weller54 Posted 6 August 2018 Posted 6 August 2018 Prefer Drinky alongside Ndidi than Iborra or Silva! Iborra too slow. Silva too lightweight. 2
HankMarvin Posted 6 August 2018 Posted 6 August 2018 https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/west-ham-keen-danny-drinkwater-13042193 And the FA Cup holders will only let England midfielder Drinkwater leave - subject to a loan fee of around £3m - if his £130,000-a-week wages are met and they get the signing of a replacement over the line before Thursday's 5pm deadline.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 6 August 2018 Posted 6 August 2018 Do Chelsea not realise someone would be doing them a favour by taking him off them? 130K a week and 3 million on top, get in the bloody biffa.
Foxxed Posted 6 August 2018 Posted 6 August 2018 Would he be ahead of Maddison, Silva and Iborra for non-DM role? I can't see him fitting in.
