Man Utd will be in the same boat, only they’ll have Young, Lingard, Rashford, Jones, Lukaku, Fellaini almost certainly missing along with possibly De Gea, Lindelof and whoever else from there who made the knockout stages of the World Cup.

But admittedly we don't have the strength in depth that the top teams in the league have.

30 odd players but no strength in depth.  That's what 3 years of pretty shambolic recruitment gets you.

Yep that is the state of the club right now.

 

I do think we have gone some way to correct it though and signings since Macia came in have been relatively decent.

 

It does feel like we are a CB and Winger short though.
