Popular Post TrentFox Posted 6 August 2018 Popular Post Posted 6 August 2018 (edited) Seeing this thread go ‘hot’ is like walking into your hall and seeing a pile of post drop through the letterbox - but the top one is from HMRC. Edited 6 August 2018 by TrentFox 3 7
Kasey Keller Posted 6 August 2018 Posted 6 August 2018 Ill give big Barry Hayles a bell.........see what he's upto, he'll be worth at least £8m in this market.
Mike Oxlong Posted 6 August 2018 Posted 6 August 2018 If Ghezzal reads this thread he will feel truly loved in comparison to Diouf 2
PoshhFox Posted 6 August 2018 Posted 6 August 2018 £15 mil??? this has to be part of some kind of money laundering scheme I wouldn’t pay 2 bags of crisps
HankMarvin Posted 6 August 2018 Posted 6 August 2018 Is this the big signing mightyfin implied was coming

DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 6 August 2018 Posted 6 August 2018 Oh, bloody, no. Tell me I imagined this thread. It must be the heat.

Wymsey Posted 6 August 2018 Posted 6 August 2018 Would feel like a panic buy if there's, of course, any truth in this. Even if it was a panic buy, it'd be an unnecessary one with none of Ulloa and Slimani seeming set to leave just yet.

He'd be used in wide positions I envisage!
Tielemans63 Posted 6 August 2018 Posted 6 August 2018 ****ing Mame ****ing Biram ****ing Diouf? This has to be a wind up? £15m for a guy who has never proven himself in any position? He won't get anywhere near the first 11 so what's the point of spunking £15m on him? Or any money for that matter. I've always tried to see the positives (even with Ghezzal) but this is just retarded. Can only assume someone within or connected to the club is doing alright out of these transfers. 1
surrifox Posted 6 August 2018 Posted 6 August 2018 This is a bit like Everton last season - signing a shed load of crap for top dollar and overpaying massively for the likes of Sigurdsson and Pickford (who did turn out OK)
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 6 August 2018 Posted 6 August 2018 It’s got to be agent paper talk. Nothing in this. Can’t be. No one is that stupid.

It really has become silly season if there's any truth in this at all hasn't it?

Okay, Ghezzal is a big gamble but in his favour he's worked with Puel, played for a couple of top notch clubs in France and at 26 is approaching his peak. He also provides cover where there's a need. MBD is nearly 31, never nailed down a spot as a striker or inside forward at Stoke and hasn't done anything in England for two years. He was very poor in a relegated side. Is he better than Ulloa or Slim? Absolutely not. I can't think of a single positive to this transfer. Edited 6 August 2018 by Paddy. 3
surrifox Posted 6 August 2018 Posted 6 August 2018 He didn't even start for feckin stoke at the weekend
