Why Leicester must make a renewed attempt to sign Mame Biram Diouf Leicester City have made a number of significant additions to their squad, with Claude Puel bringing in the likes of Dann Ward, Johnny Evans, James Maddison, Ricardo Pereira and most recently, Rachid Ghezzal from Monaco. According to The Sun, Claude Puel has failed in his pursuit of Stoke City striker Mame Biram Diouf after failing to meet Stoke City’s £15million evaluation of the player. Claude Puel should make a renewed bid for the striker before the window shuts tomorrow. Mame Biram Diouf would provide the manager with regular goals and would be a constant threat in front of goal. The Foxes have already generated a lot of funds through the transfer of Riyad Mahrez. Leicester should certainly splash the cash on the striker who will provide the squad with some much-needed depth and strength in the final third.
