Thank you for helping this club through its best period ever.

Thank you for showing me skills I've never seen before.

Thank you for the Premiership title.

And now thank you for Pereira, Soyuncu, Benkovic, Maddison, Ward, Evans, and Ghezzal. (With a little help from Musa)

Do you think the club don’t have a transfer budget each window without selling players?

Not a 100 million pound one.

They spent 57m the year before selling DD in Later January and buying Silva.

whilst the mahrez money has helped, it’s not the reason why we have bought every player.

Also I suppect the outgoing column will look different by the end of the month, with the European window still active

Why not just concentrate on current players who need our support instead of  boringly regurgitating the same old same old. He's gone and we've watched these clips dozens of times, they're not new.

Bit like thanking your ex for the great sex, you're probably never getting it again so move on! I will say this though, I've never seen anyone control a long ball so well. And yes I am referring to Mahrez.

Just think though if Peter Taylor had not done what he did we probably would never have won the league.. scary thought lol

Stupendous,a diamond.

Little snippets that one easy forgets...brillant putting 3 of the Opposition on their ar&e..

K.Weller the last player,I remember doing that...through I did see Worthington,do a holdup of ball,

a Flick and twist Inside to get a shot off, leaving 4 oppo players standing. He actually did that a few

times, scoring in a low level cup game, and in the league when playing later for Bolton and again for Brum.

But this is a Mahrez post.  Those type of snippets we will Miss, you just dont replace such players,

their memories ride Into the decades of time, and over the Clubs generations, kids, dads and suffering

Mums.

Riyad Mahrez, was our very own Diamond,if he became over petulant...so what,!!!

Others have Been alot worse, and he always pulled the Jersey on when asked.

Yes that title, that season with some, after CL memories wipe that slate clean....

I will follow him with interest.....Would I welcome him back..AS a Mancity player..Always!

..AS a player who returns to play for us,..definitely...!!

I imagine in the Next 2 seasons we will be fondly saying goodbye to a few More,

but I presume not with that same emotion.Through his last months antics left

some Fans somewhat despondent and in their minds thankfull...I can also accept that.

Most missed and underrated action of that season,From commentators and pundits alike.

I remember I was extatic, but underwhelmed from the reporting and commentary at the time,

even the Highlights from other channels, didnt pick up on the Moment of  brilliance.

In fact I believe it was our most dischanted pundits DMills then Murphy with Redknapp, picking

up on it a few Weeks later,in post Analyse of players..

Way to mutch man love for me. I notice you ignore the fact throwing his toys out the pram lost us £20m+.

Also its the owners you should be thanking. They could of pocketed the money. But instead dropped it in the transfer kitty. Hopefully this thread is the end of it.

Unless someone wants to thank him for the remarkable weather this summer.
