Strong, obviously very aggressive, a bit quicker then the average CB. He was actually quite composed on the ball, especially compared to the likes of Wes and Simmo. Needless to say his big downfall was his decision making, it was horrendous. I think people just remember his horror show at right back on his debut and hold him too it. If he played CB from the off and given more games i think people would rate him a wee bit more. 4

He was very odd as an individual, but one thing massively to his credit is he never got the hump, always posted positivity about the club on social media, even when he wasn’t involved. I just think his distribution made him fall short of being premier league, but he has played in it, and the Champions League so good on him.

True enough. Point well made! Me, I reckon Benny isn't quite the barbarian/liability he's sometimes cast as. I actually reckon he is a pretty decent player but just perhaps not to standard. Certainly I reckon he ought move on if he wants to play regular football because he'd get few look-ins with us - and I mean no disrespects by that. 1
