He had a season and a half at Parma and I think was reasonably well thought of there.  Atalanta paid a bit of money to get him (though not nearly as much as we did !).

James and Mendy should be offloaded before any of the 3 you have mentioned. Iborra and Silva are our 1st choice cms alongside Wilf and King is happy being 4th or 5th choice. Im surprised a championship club hasn't come in for King or James to be honest. They'd both be very good championship players.

Negotiations can take time, there may be several suitors for King, with him and the club weighing up the best options.

 

James and Mendy are still recovering from injury, so going nowhere at the moment.

I wasn't counting James or Mendy as they're both injured and unlikely to be going anywhere.

Iborra and Silva are first choice but neither has delivered so I'd let them go while they still have value.

A new left sided Midfielder with NDiddy, Mendy and Choudhury, and we'd be ok.

Barkley for 10 to 15 Mil would have been a good buy for the left side.

King I still think will go out on loan.
