Everton (H) Match Thread

Recommended Posts

Very sloppy at the back, Amartey can do a job at RB against the lesser teams but he's been found wanting today. Nice to see a few hoofs over the top for Vardy to run on to and another counter attacking goal. Maybe Puel's finally realising that his tikki takki style doesn't work.

Ndidi has been getting a lot of venom from fans but that lob for the Varmy chance was Leicester best chance this half and he's been great at his usual break up play.

errr, no. The best chance was the goal... which was is a chance converted. FTFY.

Amartey and Morgan on yellow

Our right side is worrying

Everton have spotted our right sided weakness against pace. Ricardo is up field, Amartey not the quickest and fairly clumsy and Wes too is not at his best when stretched wide.

No, that was a half chance with a brilliant finish. Vardy had a much easier chance. Regardless it was a great pass and defensively he's been good.

As for the goal no one even gave any credit to iheanacho there.

I'd say Vardy's chance was actually better in terms of goal likelihood, Ricardo's was great but a moment of individual skill rather than a conventional chance.

Decent game.

We're progressing with our passing game but need to realise that messing around at the back isn't what Puel wants, get the ball upfront and use it.

Game shows why Kasper isn't an elite keeper. He simply doesn't have control of his 6 yd box. At least 3 times he's flapping or simply leaving balls that are behind his defence. The goal was as much his fault as anyones. He should have dealt with it.

Vardy not on top form today, should've got at least 1 of the several chances he's had.

Chilwell has played really well, so has Mendy.

Ndidi, Maguire, Morgan need to be more careful with their passes and decisions to keep hold of the ball.

Still think we'll win.
