foxy boxing Posted 29 October 2018 Posted 29 October 2018 Like many other fans I am struggling to take in what has happened, I just can't believe such a wonderful and generous man and a fantastic owner of this club has died in such a tragic way. it is just too much to comprehend. He let every single Leicester fan dream and gave us fantastic memories that will never be forgotten. he was extremely generous to the fans and also to the wider community and we owe him so much. thanks for the ever lasting memories Vichai.
KingyLUFC Posted 29 October 2018 Posted 29 October 2018 Wow read all the tributes and what a great owner he sounds . Each and everyone of you will remember him for the rest of your lives so try not to be too sad .As a owner it sounds as though he has been the best owner ever in the history of football so keep his memory high up there and when you feel sad think of the good times especially winning the Premier League As a Leeds fan we have had some shocking owners and would have loved to have Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Again RIP from me and all fellow football fans
Richard Kingson Posted 29 October 2018 Posted 29 October 2018 Why Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was so much more than a club owner to the city of Leicester https://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/why-vichai-srivaddhanaprabha-was-so-much-more-a-club-owner-city-leicester Lovely from David Bevan as ever.
BRFC 95 / LCFC 16 Posted 29 October 2018 Posted 29 October 2018 Have signed up to express my deepest condolences and sympathy for all affected families and to all feeling the heartbreak from such a tragic and devastating event. You may not know this, but from afar, Blackburn Rovers fans have felt a bit of a special affinity with Leicester City over the last few years. Together, we were the ones that weren’t meant to. We didn’t follow the script. We thumbed our noses at the big boys and we achieved unbelievable things that towns and clubs like us weren’t even meant to be allowed to dream of. Two little clubs that could, because of two great men that cared. Learning today about the great humility, generosity and warmth that made Vichai the amazing man that he was has touched everyone in the football community and further. Hearing about the man himself, his love for your city and what he did for your community has brought me to tears for you all - his family of thousands that he has led and served so honourably. Over the past few years as a club we’ve been through some tough times, and I would like to personally express gratitude to Vichai and to all of you for reminding me of what beautiful, heartfelt, life affirming and unbridled joy and happiness that our sport can bring. Vichai and Leicester City shared those achievements with the world. But that’s all insignificant now really... You just have to trust me, from experience, when I say that he will live on. In every blade of grass, in every paving slab, in every brick and floodlight bulb there he’ll always be. No matter where you go or what happens down the road, etched into the soul of the club and everyone who loves it - there’ll be the name Vichai, and that day. Forever. I like to think that somewhere, in some kind of heaven, Vichai and our Uncle Jack can share a glass of fine wine and chuckle about how feather light that trophy felt to lift. They can share a smile at the happiness they brought to so many and be proud of the love that they gave and how very loved they were in return. Eternal Champions. So sorry for your loss. X
whoareyaaa Posted 29 October 2018 Posted 29 October 2018 Thinking over what has happened its almost like the heart of the club has been took away from us, everything that has happened in the last 10 years all started because of this man.
Simi Posted 29 October 2018 Posted 29 October 2018 Absolutely devastating. What a truly great man Vichai was, not just for this football club but the wider community as well. He had such a strong bond with us as fans, a bond not often seen. I had the privilege of meeting Vichai in Bruges on the day of our Champions League game. A day that without him wouldn't have been possible. It was a sign of the man he was that he was just wandering the streets of Bruges in his LCFC polo shirt talking to fans and taking photos. I will be forever grateful that I had the opportunity to thank him for all he had done for LCFC.
Okayamafoxes Posted 29 October 2018 Posted 29 October 2018 Read the news. Saw the stories. He was simply own best owner ever . Simply The Boss. RIP. Prayers are with all families of the five ?
5waller5 Posted 29 October 2018 Posted 29 October 2018 If, like me, you just need to let it out and have a good cry ..... watch it all, soak it up, and at 4 minutes 6 seconds, see what Leicester City meant to Khun Vichai, how happy he was with us all. I hope you are all well and finding your own solace x
Mok Posted 29 October 2018 Posted 29 October 2018 RIP all those that passed, thank you Vichai for helping us all to realise our dream, forever in our hearts
Guest Markyblue Posted 29 October 2018 Posted 29 October 2018 Already posted on here but i have one memory i can't get out of my head.the day in madrid in the plaza mayor when he walked into hundreds of city fans with that smile on his face.we parted and surrounded him like the messiah. I love that memory.
foxfanazer Posted 29 October 2018 Posted 29 October 2018 A few people had put full bottles of Singha on the tables outside the stadium which I thought was a lovely touch
Grey Fox Posted 29 October 2018 Posted 29 October 2018 Khun Vichai, You made our impossible dream a reality, and for that, you will never be forgotten. Your spirit will live on, forever, in our hearts. x

The best tribute we can offer going forward as a club and fan base is probably to maintain high standards, of contributing to the community, by acting with the utmost integrity and doing the decent thing; and as a club and a fan base by absolutely refusing to ever quit. Vichai showed us the way; the very least we can do is to honour that in an appropriate way and an organic way in the way that we as a club operate going forward.

Beechey Posted 29 October 2018 Posted 29 October 2018 It feels so unbearably tragic, but the scene at the KP is one of utter beauty in communal grief - only was able to go at about 8pm last night, and even then there were so many people paying their respects and leaving items of thanks and remembrance.

The club is on its knees at the moment and it’s gonna take a long time to get up again, but we will and hopefully with Top as the man at the helm. We are a strong family
manders86 Posted 29 October 2018 Posted 29 October 2018 I'm finding it so tough to get going through my normal day and work duties today. It's truly like a loss in the family, I would like to think I'm not the most dramatic of people in fact probably the opposite. Vichai you have touched our hearts in the most incredible way, you gave us the unbridled joy in 15/16, but way before that the vision was there. People laughed when you said we would be in the champions league in 5 seasons on our promotion, but you knew. You dreamed and we all came with you. That is only the football side though, not just an incredible owner, an incredible man. Just because you had so much didn't mean you had to go over and above for us the fans, or the city that would have been just a dot on the map 10 years ago to you. You gave us your all in your life, we will give our all to honour you now and beyond. When we rise again from this dark time, every supporter that ever sits in our stadium, wears the blue and adorns the words king power to their chest, has a duty to represent this wonderful man and all he stood for. He really was the people's billionaire. Goodnight Mr Vichai, sleep tight and smile down on us.
