DEcent game but Watford were on top most of it. We took our chances. I was given a link for the game hes goals. Just had to remove ads. No buffering.

I have taken a sports package from Virgin. Lasts till March. Half price. Should be about £40. Won't have it after it runs out though. Only got it for football.

Your feelings certainly do appear hurt. X

Think it was the price and I'm sure we went for Slimani instead looking back now maybe we should have took the gamble Slimani didn't fit in at all and Deeney has the attributes we look for I was against it at the time though but would have been a good move looking at it now

I reckon if we could have prised Deeney from them we wouldn't have bought Slim. We had three or something bids turned down. And this was when we had European football. He wasn't going anywhere.

Sorry this comment seems to relate to the game. Do you realise what thread you're in? Nice to see you posting though!

Twas a joke. Most posts on here are bitching about things in general. Nice to see a post about the game!

Vardy was clever with the penalty, Foster moaning that he left a trailing leg for him to catch. well all strikers do that now. fantastic bit of skill and an amazing goal for Maddison. great that we kept a clean sheet. while Pereira had a really good game . with the goals it was a case of more direct football and we need to mix it up in games where we can keep possession and play it around but also quick attacking football. a really good win which keeps the unbeaten run going.

I've missed us scoring goals lately where you want to go back and watch again and again.

Nothing touchy about my reply, just pointing out your errors...

Great game and very pleased with the win but I can't be the only one that thinks Maddison's goal wasn't actually that great?

It's definitely just you

I still worried with evans.

Morgan were older and somehow evans were rested near the ends.

Some of our player were slight injured near or after the match, only to be out for few weeks, from last season kasper to the last ghezzal.

Listening to Stringer's reaction on RL I thought it must be an absolute worldy. Slightly underwhelmed when I saw it later...

I mean it was ok but owed a bit to the defender as well.

Not complaining though.

I thought Evans played really well. Won everything in air at the back. Wes won’t play on Wednesday while Evans most likely will so maybe just protecting the player.

I don't think there was that much difference to previous performances, obvious difference being we managed to get in front and took our chances. Watford were creating a bit but for some reason I always felt comfortable.

Ricardo is improving defensively, partly down to having Albrighton in front of him, this in turn is making Morgan look more comfortable. Ricardo still done easy by a one two at times but there has been some impressive back post defending recently. Big fan of Mendy and thought he was excellent again and Maddison was improved.

Some of the usual suspect fangirls on Twitter seem to think we've been playing like that all season.

If we play less of the plodding 'possession football' stuff then Puel will be just fine and we'll all be happy.

Feels nice we’ve finally got someone in charge who knows what they are doing and the club is in safe hands. Not had that since Pearson.

Don't you think that was far more down to Watford actually coming here to try and get the win by playing football? They left gaps we could put the ball into quickly far more often than we've been able to of late, when playing far more defensively minded teams.

We still created far less than we did in those games with "plodding possession football", it just made things feel a bit more uptempo.

Yes it helped that Watford didn't park the bus and that they were profligate in front of goal.

We need to be cuter when teams sit back...and knocking the ball around slowly and side to side doesn't seem to be that effective.

I like us playing more uptempo, he'll win more fans over doing that.

Fulham won't sit back against us, we could do very well against them if the energy and dynamism is there again.

That guy after Pearson did OK, although to be fair they didn't play anyone good for a whole season

So he's really doesn't have any problem? Made sense then. Thanks for the relieve pills

He actually gave us his word he would be signing for us. Then changed his mind last minute after Watford gave him a massive new deal.

I think it's very very different watching it when you know the final outcome. Watching it live it felt like time stood still seeing if he could maintain control to score. That was what was so special about it.
