First decent performance after being awful and suddenly Puel is a ****ing genius. Credit where credit is due, we played very well today but Puel has alot more to do before alot of people are convinced. Vardy back to his best today.

Might even watch MOTD!

It's funny that we take the piss when Wolves fans think that their club is better than it is but we are guilty of the same thing. People not happy with eighth place FFS.

We are a young club with a very bright future but some fans are just not happy with that.

Good win, much-needed and generally pleased with the performance.

Quietly we are going about our business. Watford, Bournemouth and Wolves have all had lots of plaudits at times this season yet currently we sit above all of them. Need to back it up in midweek.

To be honest the performances haven't been that great. Even today wasn't anything special. However the club is in a pretty healthy position, especially given the circumstances. The manager has certainly played a part in that.

Don’t know how many times we have to reiterate that the problem is not and has never been league position! Blimey

Completely agree with the sentiment but the fixtures we’ve had are part of the reason we are where we are.

I can’t imagine any other side in the league has only played 2 of the top 5 teams, none of whom seem prepared to drop points to anybody but each other.

There’s a decent chance that we’ll hit the turn of the season on 25 points or fewer which would be roughly a par score. Obviously there have been huge extenuating circumstances.

I see what you're saying but we've seen with Wolves, for instance, that you can't guarantee where your points are coming from. Two points from Man City and Arsenal, none from Huddersfield and Cardiff.

Although we would be expected to take points from these games, actually doing it does take some of the heat off us. Obviously we need points from the three matches in the next five against the big sides and if we can match last year's tally of four I'd accept that.

Everton have played two, Watford three... and they were the first two I checked.

Bournemouth three. So it's not like we've had a far better fixture list or anything really.

I really am at a loss with some of the comments on here. Our title win is turning into a Curse.

4yrs ago everyone would have been happy tonight.

I really am starting to hate match days. Oh and some of the miserable cvnts on here.

Fully agree. I really thought this would be a happier place this evening, but it seems you just can't please some people

This is a back handed compliment with a kick in the balls. We won the league playing exactly like this. Just piss off please.

Oh please, a system that has failed multiple times this season finally worked. You cannot declare Puel a footballing god based on that. It was a good performance but it was Watford. Now let's see if we can actually build on it.

If you describe a team ranked 8th in the "best league in the world" being awful the whole season except for one decent match, which words would you use for the 12 teams beneath us ?

You'll have to show me where I said awful all season. Extremely inconsistent all season maybe.

4 wins from the last 11 premier league games including 3 red cards and a -3 goal difference suggests to me that the system has been falling flat on its face.

We looked good today and something seemed to click but one swallow doesn't make a summer. We need to actually carry on playing with some bloody desire like we showed today.
