lgfualol Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Decent enough. Cant be any worse than our usual team apart from Simpson.
GingerrrFox Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 The only thing that ****s me off about that team is Simpson over Ricardo. What’s the ****ing point in that?
StanSP Posted 18 December 2018 Author Posted 18 December 2018 Ward Simpson - Maguire - Soyuncu - Fuchs Choudhury - Iborra - Mendy Ghezzal - Iheanacho - Gray
blaaklint Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 That looks more like a 4-3-3 than the regular 4-2-3-1.
The Doctor Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Silva gone in Jan then. Alright in concept but no doubt we'll be too slow in the midfield
martyn Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Good side. Plenty of creativity in there with Soyuncu and Maguire prompting from deep.
rachhere Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 4-3-3 again. Hmmm... I am surprised... not necessarily in a good way either.

KFS Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Car crash. Simpson hoof only for it to return over and over again from one of the great attacks in the league. Yeah, nice.
blaaklint Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Although could even be a 4-3-1-2 with Ghezzal behind Gray and Iheanacho, but seems unlikely.
Guest MattP Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Not our strongest side which is unforgivable. Man City also not at full strength. Let's hope we do it, otherwise big chance down the toilet.

This is the one that's troubling me the most to be honest. Don't try mixing up the defence more than you have to for a match like this one.
StanSP Posted 18 December 2018 Author Posted 18 December 2018 No Vardy at all is a bit of a piss-take. Can understand him not starting given the groin injury but to not have him at all is disappointing. They've got a weaker squad but still looks strong . Aguero, De Bruyne, Walker, Stones, Otamendi, Foden. Such strength in depth.
