Guest Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 old and slow team. But Hamza, and Nacho ftw. Don't know why we'd play Okazaki instead of Gray.
lozzyblue fox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 first giant killing of the day Oldham beating fulham away wonder whos next. Ho yes Barnet beat sheff united .
That_Dude Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Decisive game for Puel's future. Hope he doesn't screw it up.
fazzyfox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Would have liked to see one possible u-23 potential debutant on bench but otherwise OK. With these kind of line ups it's not so much the faith in the individuals as whether or not it will gel, I know they train together but sometimes it makes you wonder if they've ever met when there's no real flow. May be the last we see of King. Hopefully not Shinji, I still want him around. Enough solid sensible pros in Albrighton, Simpson, Morgan, Evans, Fuchs to assure me we won't be naive, just need the likes of Ghezal and Nacho to make positive contributions. Plucky Taffs 0 Cool Calm Foxes 3 This is our year!
Max Power Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Strong enough team. Not sure about Shinji but his work rate will be good against a grafting League Two outfit. Match their effort and we’ll win easily.
StriderHiryu Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 As others have said it looks likely this means Silva, Iborra and Diabate all going on loan. I reckon King is getting a run out as it’s his last game for us to be able to thank the fans. But could be wrong!
coolhandfox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Good to see James back, and for King to get a game.
Farrington fox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 There’s some pressure on Nacho to deliver thats for sure. Look solid enough at the back, but no pace in the side.

Silva things just haven't worked with him, Iborra is in Spain with family I believe. Ah, I missed the Diabate loan. Hopefully it's good for him.
Sir Shep Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 If King is to leave, be a bit strange to cup tie him.
Jobyfox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Instinctively that team looks a bit one dimensional in midfield and we might struggle to create. But it might be an opportunity for Choudhury to demonstrate how much progress he’s made. With James only just coming back it’s his opportunity to grab hold of the CM area and lead as almost the senior man. It will interesting to see how he does today.
UniFox21 Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Seeing on Twitter people calling for Silva to play, one group tweeting him to apologise(?). We don't know what's going on behind the scenes, we don't know what's happening. Things just haven't worked out, it's the risk any player and club make when buying a player.
Danno Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Weird that Albrighton’s starting, we’d be fvcked if he got injured, and he looked knackered against Everton. Could have easily put Gray there who we can afford to lose tbqh.
fazzyfox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Just seen David Attenborough head into ground with a camera having been tipped off about the presence of a lesser spotted James and King. Beware if you're a plastic fan, he'll hate you.

RumbleFox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Good strong line up. Nice to see Puel proving he understands the English game and the importance of the FA cup. Up the Foxes. X

He’s finished, that’s what makes a mockery of his last contract, 2 1/2 years out, give him a new contract, barely been fit since. Feel for the guy, but his wages will soften the blow for him, he needs to earn the wages, loan him out, or if he can’t stay fit terminate his contract
fazzyfox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Good to see them open the TV coverage with an image of the cup itself.....in a suit and coat....speaking.....oh, sorry Gary.

Jobyfox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 The slightly depressing thing about today is that it appears that Iborra and Silva might be on their way and that we’re back to only being one or two injuries away from having Andy King on the subs bench.
