Okazaki is either going to have a stormer or will spend the whole game falling over the uneven surfaces on the pitch.

Nobody from the u23s on the bench is interesting - are they that bad or are we just respecting our opponents by putting out a strong squad.

The slightly depressing thing about today is that it appears that Iborra and Silva might be on their way and that we’re back to only being one or two injuries away from having Andy King on the subs bench.

Let's see what happens before we have a meltdown about it. We could just buy someone once we've get rid of a few.

Shocked at the positivity from you lot, my only gripe is no u-23’s

Choudhury and Iheanacho are U23...

Shall we run a book on how long till James is injured, puel says pitch isn’t very good as they play rugby on here.

It will be a good day if we win by any score and no injuries

Totally agree. Id be happy with a 1-0 so long as we dont get any injuries.

There are few decent players. At least ones that could make the bench. I suspect Puel is playing it safe. Our League Cup matches were releatively strong as well.

We've got an under 23 in the starting lineup ;)

Happy with this, any stupidness will be down to the players and not the manager!

Mate, this is Foxestalk.

It'll be Puel's fault whatever happens.

Decisive game for Puel's future. Hope he doesn't screw it up.

You may be right.  He certainly likes to take risks.  If he throws this Cup in the bin through reading this entirely wrong, then he will be inviting a mountain of criticism.

4-1.

Ghezzal and okazaki to score 1 each followed  by 2 from nacho.

Will drive the moaners mental lol

It would, if it had any chance of happening...

Hope Matty James plays well and without anymore injuries

Ever think that if Lineker and co hadn't come in to get us out of administration, we could've ended up like these?

Mate, I was joking.

From that line-up I understand that he's taking it seriously, we should be strong enough to get through. And there is just no way he gets the boot right now, even if we lose this one.
