davieG Posted 7 January 2019 Posted 7 January 2019 Premier League side Leicester City have joined Stoke City in the race to sign Guingamp forward Matthias Phaeton, according to reports from French media outlet RMC Sport. The 18-year old is highly regarded at the Ligue 1 club, and after a string of impressive performances in the French club’s youth ranks, the highly-rated forward was even linked with a move to European giants Juventus. But despite being regarded as one of the brightest prospects in the French leagues, Phaeton is still yet to sign a professional contract with the club, and it is believed that an €800,000 bid could be enough to lure him away from the club – despite Guingamp wanting to loan Both the Foxes and the Potters have reportedly enquired about the forward, with the latter keen to improve their firepower to galvanise a push up the Sky Bet Championship table. Stoke boss Gary Rowett has come under serious scrutiny in recent weeks – the Staffordshire club currently sit 14th in the table, eight points off the play-off places despite an influx of big-money summer signings. The Verdict On paper, Phaeton doesn’t look like the most prolific of goalscorers in Ligue 2, but various media outlets in France are saying that he could be a really talented player. Stoke need any boost that comes their way, with the likes of Benik Afobe struggling to find the net regularly this season. For €800,000, he could be a real bargain, and Rowett needs to get this one wrapped up – albeit if he keeps his job. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/stoke-city-make-enquiry-in-attempt-to-seal-agreement-with-forward/

Saxondale Posted 8 January 2019 Posted 8 January 2019 Hear he's also good at Golf. Looks like a good Passat of the ball. Don't wind him up, he'll go Lupo. Looking forward to him being a Fox. Share's the Srivaddhanaprabha passion for Polo. Better he has a crack in the Premier League rathing than Touran the lower leagues. Similar player to Harry Arteon. Sure his performances will get the King Power T-Roc-king. The only way is Up! for this young man. Etc.
