HankMarvin Posted 28 January 2019 Posted 28 January 2019 Birmingham City to Burnley, £15m Burnley boss Sean Dyche is considering forward options such as Tottenham's Vincent Janssen and likes the look of Adams at Birmingham City. Southampton have also shown interest in the 22-year-old but Garry Monk would want a big fee bearing in mind Birmingham's financial constraints and the fact they owe a sell-on to Sheffield United. City are also offloading Omar Bogle to Portsmouth.

Ric Flair Posted 30 January 2019 Posted 30 January 2019 Scored again last night, notching the sort of figures even Vardy didnt do in the Championship for a team who pissed the league.
KFS Posted 30 January 2019 Posted 30 January 2019 Shame we’re not in for this guy. We needed a striker coming into this window...

We definitely should have been trying to shift Okazaki and Iheanacho who have offered nothing all season to allow this, he's from Leicester too.
Max Power Posted 30 January 2019 Posted 30 January 2019 Hopefully he doesn't move this window and we can get involved in the summer once Okazaki and Slimani are off the books.

Slim won't be off our books until his contract runs out. What's he done to justify the wage we pay. Who's daft enough to match it? Do you see him on £80k a week accepting £20/30k max to move.

GingerrrFox Posted 30 January 2019 Posted 30 January 2019 We are stupid if we let a local lad slip through our fingers again.
simon789us Posted 30 January 2019 Posted 30 January 2019 Be a good signing if we could pull it off this late in the day

North Leeds Fox Posted 30 January 2019 Posted 30 January 2019 Best thing for all parties is to buy him and loan him back to Birmingham. They don't lose him and would be open to it as they are not left without a striker as they can't buy anyone. We will be losing shinji in the summer and we will have a replacement lined up.
STUHILL Posted 30 January 2019 Posted 30 January 2019 '...No idea. Adams bid was submitted and contact was made with DD reps that's all I know and why I have not posted anything else!' (themightyfin)
FrankieADZ Posted 30 January 2019 Posted 30 January 2019 given the situation Birmingham are in atm they wouldnt want to lose Adams but the money they need it, if we want him badly.......i think offer £12/15mil for him and maybe offer one of our u23 to them on loan for the rest of the season(if thats possible with the situation there atm) or the latter is bid and him stay on loan there for the rest of the season, imo i think he'd be a decent addition as we need another mobile forward and frankly nacho blows hot and cold
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 30 January 2019 Posted 30 January 2019 I think we should tell Birmingham we are not prepared to bid less than £20m... Or however our negotiations usually go like.
les-tah Posted 30 January 2019 Posted 30 January 2019 buy him and send back on loan.. Offer them another player on loan to soften blow and increase promotion push.
indierich06 Posted 30 January 2019 Posted 30 January 2019 £15m is pretty much peanuts for young English talent these days. Pay the money, send over Leshabela, Johnson and any striker they fancy (Muskwe?) on loan too.

Better still, buy him for £15m, play him, watch him struggle to adapt to the PL, slag him off & then loan him back to Brum next season!
