In the scheme of things £5/£7 million is not the end of the world for a squad member in the PL. On a positive nice to think how far we have come when our near neighbours are bringing in a player surplus to requirements here

STUHILL Posted 18 January 2019 Posted 18 January 2019 So curious to know what they paid for him. An 18 month contract hardly screams excitement over such a player. I imagine 500k? He has had a lot of stick from our fans and mostly undeserved. Not a Premier League defender due to his rashness, but he still had his moments and played well in some games. Strange signing at the time and lucky to stick around so long but good luck to him. Will get regular football now and will be interesting to see how he does.
