coolhandfox Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 Defence is all over the place, we looked much better with Evans playing.

He was always going to get loads of shit from them and to give him such a pivotal role as well. In all fairness people have been calling for Barnes to start for ages. Jota could have and maybe should have scored that. What are we doing?
egg_fried_rice Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 What on earth is going on with our back four today?

Maguire for example was one of the best defenders in the World Cup! It's bizarre how far some of these players have fallen under Puel. Eh... Maguire really wasn't the good at the World Cup defensively and we've had one of the best defences in the league this season. Last calendar year Vardy is the 5th top scorer out of everyone. Maddison is in his first season in the prem' and has a bloody decent return. What are you comparing it against exactly? N'didi is the only one who looked any worse, but that's far more to do with him being asked to pass the ball rather than just be a destroyer.
Dames Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 We only look alright going forwards because we are 2-0 down and thats the only time they can attack without fear of reprimand from the manager. Also I dont know how he can justify starting Mendy after the horror show against Southampton. His decisions as usual are baffling.
Farrington fox Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 Too many changes, again. The Tinkerman has nothing on this muppet.

martyn Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 Defence much more organised with Evans in it recently.

Guest Mee-9 Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 Simpson and Morgan are a genuine hazard. Shocking.

The People's Hero Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 Don’t know why everyone is upset what with all this ‘progress’ going on! Not marking at all is very progressive indeed.

It's not like they didn't know the treatment he'd get.
yorkie1999 Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 And the Stats keep rising apart from the only important one. Shots on target 10 balls in the back of the net 0

But today, on a bad run, a derby of sorts, he’s just come from their biggest rivals, and he’s been given the task of being the attacking outlet. Just wouldn’t have done it today myself.
