Congratulations to Michael Appleton on his impending appointment as manager of Hibs. I'm sure he'll be a big success up there. As Caretaker manager for us he steadied the ship after Shakespeare's departure and was a major factor in our top half finish last season.

All the best to him!

Hopefully he'll start DJ or give him some game time with the Leicester link!

And maybe next season take a couple more of out promising young talents up there for some game time.

Yes currently loving the ad hominem attacks coming from the "other side".

More points in one post than the OP in his last six.

Best of luck to him. He struck me as someone who could make a top manager, if the cards fell nicely.

We are starting to get a real link with Hibs, it could be handy for further loan deals.

Aah, should have read the whole thread through...

Can you get any further up Puel's backside? Zzzzzzz

What, by dealing in facts? lol what's the point of factually incorrect digs at our current manager?

Criticism of things like his stylistic approach, his man-management of senior players etc. fine - I'd disagree with those two points, I think we can see signs of progress, however slow it is, with spells in games that suggest when we click, we'll be a force, and I think the senior players need phasing out, on the whole I think history will be kind to him and see him as one of our better managers, who laid the foundations for sustained success - but it's sensible debate around what each poster considers priorities, and whether he's the manager to deliver that success rather than just the set up is a fair question. Low value posts like the one I was responding to, kinda pointless.
